This was a great experience. Great location right by the lake and in the heart of South Lake Tahoe. Condo was as described. Kitchen was the best stocked one we have ever found in a vacation rental. Management was very responsive. We were able to walk averywhere. Would definitely highly recommend. Just remember to not leave trash out overnight - there are bears!
The property was very and the kitchen was well stocked with most anything you might need. The property its self was very well maintained. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Great location to Heavenly ski resort. Very clean and quiet. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Beds were super comfortable. We would definitely stay here again the next time we are in Tahoe.
Great condo, well stocked, clean, and well cared for. The Location is unbeatable. We enjoyed time at the pool, at the beach and in the condo relaxing. The perfect vacation. We highly recommend.
We had a great stay and although it was cool outside there was no way to cool the inside other than by opening the windows, but we did not want to leave with the windows open so it was very warm during the day and into the evening until it cooled off with the windows open and fans going. Shower heads needed to be changed. Other than that great stay and location.

Hey Stacy, thanks for your thoughtful review and for choosing to stay with us at Lakeland Village #471. We're delighted to hear that you had a great stay and appreciated the location. We apologize for any discomfort caused by the indoor temperatures during your visit. South Lake Tahoe's spring temperatures can vary, with average highs ranging from the mid-40s°F in March to the mid-60s°F in spring time. While many homes in the area, including ours, rely on natural ventilation by opening windows and using fans to maintain comfort, we understand that this may not have been ideal for you, and we appreciate your feedback. Regarding the shower heads, we will have our maintenance team inspect these as needed to ensure optimal functionality for future guests. Thank you again for your valuable feedback. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again and provide an even better experience for your next Tahoe adventure.
The home was quiet and clean as mentioned in other reviews. The beds at the home were also very comfortable. This location is just a short ride to the heavenly village and casinos. Would highly recommend this unit to anyone looking to stay in south lake.

Nice to hear you enjoyed your stay at my Lakeland Village condo! RNR Vacation rentals does really good job keeping my condo clean and well stocked to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable ! Hope you come back and visit again soon !! This summer should be beautiful with all the rain we had ! Just a walk to the lake with a pool and a jaquizzi overlooking the pool to enjoy as well!!
Loved the property, including the bear visit. Great place for families. Clean and had plenty of towels!!! Parking was a challenge only because they are replacing pipe in the complex, which is a good thing. Tons of beach chairs for lounging. Wonderful sunsets. Recommended.
Overall we loved this property. The space and layout were perfect. The only complaint we had was the tile floors on the ground floor were FREEZING cold. We were there in early May. So I would recommend packing slippers.
we have stayed many times at various units with different booking sources. Our latest booking was through vrbo…the BEST experience! We received the best service..and THE BEST unit!
We will always use VRBO with the utmost confidence!

Good location in South Lake Tahoe but parking versus the unit location can be a problem when you return later in the day. Hard to find your unit when you initially arrive after dark.

Everything was accurate to the listing. Only reason I put this lower is cause1. I had to call someone to confirm the appointment2. The heat didn't extend into the bathrooms and it got very cold on the tile

Zachary, if you decide to stay with us again, please do not hesitate to reach out if you experience any issues during your stay. Thank you for staying with us in beautiful South Lake Tahoe, Zachary!
The place was clean, comfortable and as listed. We left a day early because snow storms threatened to close the roads, and with the ski resorts closed, it made no sense to stay the full length of the trip. We were not able to get a refund for leaving early, but that was also consistent with the cancellation policy I signed when I made the reservation. But the place was nice and we enjoyed staying there.
The property was excellent! Sharing the open downstairs bath with 3 a generation family was not ideal. The heat was unbearable most of the time and prevented us from using the cute loft bedroom. The many fans provided and few windows just couldn't keep it comfortable.

Denton, thank you for your review. We're so glad to hear our home was excellent for your stay with us. We appreciate your feedback as well. For future guests to note, if you have any questions on the layout of the home, please speak with one of our friendly Reservationists upon booking to make sure the home is exactly what you are looking for. Air conditioning is certainly a rare find in Tahoe, which is why we provide portable fans in every bedroom. For future guests, we always recommend leaving the blinds closed during the day, then opening the windows in the evening to let in the brisk mountain air. Thank you for staying with us Denton and we hope you enjoyed your time in beautiful South Lake Tahoe!
The specific property was in a good location….. not too far from the lakeshore beach or parking lot.
We stayed at Lakeland Village 30 yrs. ago for a similar family reunion. We didn’t realize we were staying at the same place again. The property is still kept up well and it’s nice to have the beach right there. The swimming/water activity in that area is nice too…. not too busy with boats. The only downside is being right on Lake Tahoe Blvd. At certain times of the day, it was difficult to get in/out of the village entrances. On the other hand, there’s a lot of convenient shopping places nearby.

Dorothy, thank you for your review. How cool that you came back to Lakeland Village after 30 years! We’re happy to hear you had a great at our property for your stay. Thanks for pointing out that the complex is right off Lake Tahoe Blvd, which can get busy, but also provides a prime location and beachfront access that is super rare for Tahoe these days. Thanks for staying with us Dorothy and we hope you enjoyed your time in beautiful South Lake Tahoe!
Beautiful condo in a central location in South Shore. We (myself, my spouse, our 10 year old, and my mother) rented the condo for a quick weekend trip and loved all the space the condo had- everyone had their own place to relax. The bathrooms and kitchen have been nicely updated and the condo itself was very clean and well stocked. One of our favorite things about the property was the proximity to the water and dock along with the lovely fire pits right by the pool. We walked down to the dock every morning and relaxed by the fire pits each evening. We didn't have and opportunity to use them due to rain, but the condo also had beach chairs and other items ready for a picnic or day at the beach. We also loved how close to restaurants and shops the the condo was- a walk or a 5 min drive and you could be anywhere along Stateline or Al-Tahoe areas.
The one slightly frustrating thing was parking- a large number of the parking spots were taken up by construction related activities which made for fewer spots for the guests, but hopefully the construction is finished soon. There are a lot of stairs in the particular unit we rented (3-stories), which could be a challenge for families with very small children (bring a safety gate) or anyone with significant knee or mobility concerns- but there were lots of units in the complex so I'm sure other options are available if that's important to you. Overall, very happy with our rental and would absolutely go back to the property.
