We just loved the spacious house and front porch with a view of horses across the road. The location, just a hop-skip-and-a-jump from Bemus and a short distance to Chautauqua Institution made it a perfect location. We enjoyed meeting our delightful host who communicated as often as necessary. We have already booked a stay at this location for next year!

Lovely cabin near Bemis Point

Wonderful layout and cozy setting. Knotty pine throughout. Only 6 minutes to Bemis Point. Patty and Marissa were the best hosts weve ever had and we have been to 7 continents. Always offering helpful tips during our stay. Nice gift basket full of treats and a hand written welcome note.

Independence Celebration with a wedding too

Large family wedding in Bemus Point over the July 4th weekend. Local family didn’t have enough space so this VRBO choice was perfect! Close enough to everything!!! Communication with host was great!

Patty is extremely accommodating. She allowed me have an early check-in and showed up to show me around the house. It is extremely clean and beautifully appointed in a very casual manner. She has lovely and thoughtful flourishes in the house, such as a huge welcome basket filled with goodies, vibrating leather chairs, and nice dinnerware. It is very easy to access her, if you have questions about the area or the house. Filled with wildlife that we saw often: deer, rabbits, songbirds and horses right across the street. No bears, thankfully! I highly recommend this property. Convenient for boating, hiking and paddle boarding.

Rodent infestation

Have stayed in a dozen rural vrbo’s, I understand living in and with nature. Arrived to find a dead mouse in the entry way of the front door. This was within minutes of arriving. The poor fella had friends, in the bedroom, living room, bathroom and kitchen At night would see them running across the floor from room to room. There were no bedside tables or suitcase stands so our things had been on the floor, and this was very soon untenable… We say them go under the kitchen cabinets as well and round one when looking for a baking pan. Seems they could have been managed better Otherwise would have been a very pleasant stay

Excellent Experience

Great place to stay. Everything was perfect. The little touches were great There was a little basket with goodies on the table when we arrived and a little basket with items in the bathroom. We loved waking up to the bunnies and deer in our backyard and the horses across the road every morning. Communication was outstanding. Would highly recommend this cute little house. It's right in the middle of everything to do but far enough out to enjoy privacy. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

Just about perfect

The cabin was very clean and well maintained. Certainly peaceful. Easy to get to attractions in the area. The kitchen is pretty well stocked with utensils but the cabin is lacking a few things that most rentals have. Had to buy soap for the dishwasher, a box of tissues and a hairdryer! Other than that, perfect.

This property was super clean, the owners stocked it with everything you could possibly need. So comfortably and homey.
