Pretty little place!
We really enjoyed our stay. The house was super clean and was even decorated for Memorial Day. The host was very friendly and made sure we knew we could contact her if we needed anything. We highly recommend this place!
The house was cute as and rustic, about 5 miles to downtown and across from Cavender Creek Vinyard(so walk over and enjoy a wine flight and the fire).

Perfect!!
This place was so cute and perfect. I accidentally locked myself out, and the host got there within 10 minutes with a new key! So nice! It’s at a great location.
This is a very nice house. We stayed for 3 nights to attend a venue at New River Park. The house was great and convenient to the singing that we attended. Loved all the special touches that were provided for us. The coffee selection was great. Thanks for a great place to stay. We look forward to visiting again.

This house was truly charming. I loved all of the special touches that were there for my family to enjoy. The coffee selection was great. It was a very well maintained property.
The house was convenient to the New River Park venue that we attended for 3 nights.
The beds were very comfortable. We look forward to visiting the area again soon.
Family time, relaxation, and my niece’s first winery experience. 10/10!
As a birthday gift to my niece for her 22nd birthday, we took her to her first vineyard and her first wine tasting. The location was quiet, beautiful, and tucked away. It rained our whole trip but we didn’t mind, it was very relaxing to hear the rain while we played games, watched movies, and shared obligatory birthday cake. It was a quaint mini vacation and she said it was “Just what she needed.” The kitchen was stocked with all the utensils and pots and pans I needed to make all her favorite meals for the weekend, the beds were firm but comfortable, and the whole lot exuded cozy warmth and cabin charm. We all loved the coffee and tea options and there were many moments where the kitchen table became the hub of conversation and time spent. The host was very pleasant to communicate with, access to property was a breeze, and checkout was smooth. All in all, as we locked up, my husband, our nieces, and birthday girl’s partner all agreed we would love to come back and experience this relaxing getaway together again.

From the owner: "Thank you, Shannon, for the review. It put a smile on my face knowing you and your family had a relaxing weekend and quality time together."
This charming home was everything we needed and more for our stay in Dahlonega for our daughters wedding . We truly adored this home !
Very welcoming and peaceful, and We greatly appreciated all the fine details and effort put into this home to make our stay that much more special !
We sat on the front porch and enjoyed watching the little hummingbird , sat on the back porch to catch the deer running across the grass into the woods, and enjoyed our evenings on the inside porch talking over wedding plans.
The location was perfect and close to the venue! Unfortunately our last day there we had a really bad storm come through. we lost power and had to sleep without it, and lost food in freezer. But there are some things in life you can’t control. Especially Mother Nature and the damage she can do!
Maybe Lanterns and flashlights would be nice to add.
We appreciate all the fine details and effort put into the home to make our stay feel so special. Communication was too notch!
The entire trip was top notch, Minus the storm
Including the wedding.
Dahlonega is absolutely beautiful and so worth the drive from Florida!
I wanted to take my mother on a three day weekend trip to the mountains. Dahlonega and Helen are my two favorite vacation spots in North Georgia. This cottage was all we needed. It is an older home on a quiet back road just outside of Dahlonega. Shopping and restaurants are within a five to ten minute drive. Cavender Creek winery is literally across the road. Aside from the festivities at the winery, we never heard a sound during our stay.
This home is in need of a few updates, and both porches need a good cleaning (spiderwebs, dead bugs, and wet/dirty cushions). The hardwood floors are a bit uneven and creak, but I love old homes and the quirkiness gives them charm. It offered all the amenities we could have asked for. The kitchen is stocked with all the necessities. There is a small coffee station with a selection of coffee pods and teas. The owners provide laundry detergents if you need to wash your clothes and toiletries in the bathroom. The front bedroom offers a firm mattress if you have back issues, and the living room furniture is very plush and comfy. We didn’t get to sit on the porch to enjoy the outdoors due to rain, and it was way too warm to use the fire pit which was located at the base of a steep hill. If you are looking for peace and quiet and proximity to wineries then this is the place!
This property was very beautiful. The house was very clean and the home decor was very nice. The owner provided every little need like being at home. Caroline, the owner was very nice and made sure we were comfortable. I would highly recommend staying in this country estate when you are in Georgia.
Had an amazing short vacation, came for a wedding and wasn’t disappointed!
Loved the attention to the small details. Close to town of Dahlonega, great restaurants and shops. Loved that there was a Winery just right outside the back door!!
We had such a good time. We walked strung Dahlonega and Camp Glisson and did a tasting at Cavender Creek Winery, which is just across the street. We loved staying here! Thanks so much!
Overall the property was ok.
The good: Clean, quiet, near Dohlenaga, had what u needed and AC worked well. Good washer and dryer.
Suggested improvements: Poor water pressure, no volume on tv (could hear it first day when volume set at 100, but next day no sound... It is a roku tv and if u do not have a netflix account you were out of luck.) 1 bedroom door could not shut because not hung correctly, or floor is crooked, it is an older home. Bed comfort level mediocre.
The place met our needs, but could be updated and also needs some carpenter trim work...That being said, I would stay there again.
Property was very clean and tidy, and the location was great! Very quiet area. The location is perfect for going to the Dahlonega city center or wineries or hiking/parks. The house had a lot of dishes/soaps etc, it was well stocked with coffee/keurig/hot chocolates! We loved the back porch. Really great place overall!
Loved the location! You can literally walk across/down the street to one of the best vineyards in the area and it’s super close to several others as well as the little downtown. Perfect for a quick weekend getaway in Dahlonega!
