We had a wonderful stay! Accommodating for multiple families and large enough, not to be tripping over each other. Great location and not far from slopes.
We had a great stay with family members ranging in age of 8 months to 68 years old. The number of bedrooms and living space made everyone comfortable. Appreciated the high chair, games, and sleds! Clear instructions were provided.
We had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend this property. It fit our needs perfectly! There are a couple of things I will mention that possibly need attention. At times there was a foul odor in the kitchen. It seemed to come from the refrigerator or maybe the locked cabinets. Maybe a dead mouse that smelled when the frig kicked on? It wasn't overwhelming, but noticeable. The left sink in the upstairs master bathroom drains slowly. The breaker for the upstairs lights and kitchen appliances tripped twice. And I would recommend replacing some of the blankets in the downstairs game room closet. Thanks!

Great place for a family get-together!
Perfect spot for our active family of twelve. Beautiful setting with a great deck area - nestled among tall aspen and fir trees. Good parking for three families. Plenty of scenic hiking and biking nearby. The game room, ping pong table, hot tub, and fire pit were all big hits with the grandkids. Quiet, well-separated sleeping areas for the adults, and a great 8-bed bunk room for the boys. The wildlife was the big memory-maker of the trip - with four separate visits to the cabin by bear and many visits by mule deer and wild turkey.
Aspen Knoll was a great vacation spot. Plenty of space for our family of 10 adults and 6 children. Kitchen was well supplied. Plenty of spots for relaxing and enjoying the cool weather and scenery. We will definitely come back.
Property was excellent for our family. Adults, teens and children. Ping pong table and hot tub were a hit! We did have rainy and snowy weather so the game room was good for us.There was plenty of room for our large group. Also close to hiking areas. Lots of fun!!
We were so pleased with the amount of space! All 4 couples had their own space and the 7 kids had theirs too!! The house had everything needed for a comfortable stay. There was plenty of parking and the neighbors are not too close. We’ve stayed at several homes with all 15 of us before but Aspen Knoll was everyone’s favorite! We are already planning our next stay!

Perfect vacation home
This house is in a beautiful setting and the owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The comfortable beds, cozy blankets, fluffy towels, firewood, and a clean well maintained indoor hottub were a few of the extras we really appreciated! The well equipped kitchen had every dish, pan, and spice that you could want. The furniture was comfortable inside and out. We appreciated the two outside grills and the extra propane tank available. The owners have thought of everything to provide the relaxation and fun so all you have to do is enjoy and make memories with your family!
We loved the indoor hottub and the lay out of this house. The house is spacious and the beds are pretty comfortable. The kitchen is adequately stocked with all the necessities. The house is clean and in a beautiful setting. The only downside to this property is the heating system which is controlled by thermostats in the basement for separate sides of the house. The heat comes on & off forcefully & loudly leaving us too hot or too cold w/ uneven heat throughout the entire house. We have come in March & April and the heating system both times has been uncomfortable. There were plenty of towels, toilet paper, and soap provided which was appreciated. We loved the upstairs fireplace and the deer watching!
The house layout and the bed setup was excellent for our party which had 10 - the home sleeps up to 17, parking was good for 3 vehicles with utility trailers loaded with UTVs. The owners kept us up to date on information concerning a water boil notice and bear spotted near the property. Like a lot of homes in Angel Fire - no AC, so don't be surprised. Overall it was a great property!

Wonderful for all of us!!
We had 4 families with a total of 8 kids and 7 adults for our 2nd annual summer vacation. This property was everything it said it was and more. The kids absolutely adored the bunk room and game room next to it. With tweens and teens, it was perfect. The large deck off the main living area became the adult hang out most of the time. Everyone enjoyed s'mores at the fire pit and we definitely weren't running out of wood anytime soon. The deer were a wonderful plus every morning and evening and a few of them took a liking to a couple of our girls and gave them the thrill of a lifetime by eating berries right out of their hands. Definitely an amazing property and we had a wonderful time there.

Great family location
Overall, we found the house to be a wonderful place for 3 generations to be together. It is probably the best provisioned place we’ve ever been. Everything from toilet paper and paper towels to a high chair and playpen and spices in the kitchen were provided. The wood burning fireplace (wood provided) was a pleasure to sit by day and night. All generations enjoyed the hot tub and ping pong table. The 2 separate living areas allowed the adults some quiet time while the kids were downstairs watching TV or playing games. Unfortunately the downstairs gas fireplace was not working but we spent most of our time upstairs. Even though there wasn’t much snow the kids enjoyed sledding on the provided sleds. We fed the mule deer carrots everyday off the back porch and balcony. We managed to fit all 10 of us (including a high chair) around the dining table. There was always plenty of hot water. Aspen Knoll is definitely a place we would return to if visiting Angel Fire.
The house was as expected-large with plenty of room for our family of 12 which includes 4 little ones. The only problem we had was with the heater. It ran all day & all night without putting out heat. The kids were not able to sleep downstairs or hang out in the downstairs great room because it was too cold. So it was disappointing to rent a large home and then not be able to use all of it. On the plus side, the kitchen is wonderfully supplied and having sleds on site to play with at the house was a good bonus!

Thanks for your review! We're glad you enjoyed your stay at this house and we apologize you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
- We apologize for the inconvenience the heater caused during your stay. We contacted a local company to fix and identify the issue with the heater and were unable to get someone out before your checkout due to the weekend. We are happy to report both heaters have since been serviced and are working.
- Thanks for letting us know about your stay! It was a pleasure hosting you and your family. We’d love the chance to provide you with a truly 5-star experience and hope to host you again soon.

Mixed Experience
For most of our large group, the house was excellent. Spacious, beautiful grounds and neighborhood. However, for those staying in the lower level Master Bedroom, the experience was far less than ideal. The furnace and tankless hot water heater are located inside the bedroom. Ever time the heat kicked in, the furnace made a tremendously loud noise. Every time someone turned on the hot water, the tankless water heat would "wake up," sounding like the engine of a car. These noises made it impossible to sleep! Additionally, the kitchenette inside the master bedroom had a dirty refrigerator and dirty sink. I messaged Evolve and submitted photos of the inside of the refrigerator and the sink, as well as the furnace and water heater. Obviously, photos of the furnace and water heater can't tell the story of the noise they make). Tina from Evolve responded that they are closing the case due to insufficient documentation. When I responded that I had submitted photos, she replied back that they are closing the case, as "the concerns are either subjective or have little impact on a guest's stay." Really Tina? Not being able to sleep due to extraordinarily loud noises from a furnace and water heater INSIDE a bedroom is a subjective concern? It has little impact on a guest's stay??I called the Evolve office requesting to speak with Tina and was told she was out of office and would call me back the next day. She did not call; instead, she emailed that the resolution remained and that the case was closed. When I replied that I was told she would call me back, she wrote back that I was misinformed- she was not going to call me , and that there would be no further communication, as the case has been closed. She wrote that I was "free to seek other avenues of resolution." In general, her condescending and utterly rude tone that came across in her email was way out of place. And her refusal to speak with me on the phone was completely unprofessional and not the way a paying guest should be treated. We would likely stay here again, as most of the group did enjoy the house, but I would advise not having anyone sleep in the downstairs Master. Additionally, this house is listed on platforms other than Evolve. I would suggest using those platforms to book, as my first and only experience with Evolve has been extremely disappointing. One more thing: be prepared to drive 6 min each way to dispose of your trash. And they will charge you for any trash that you don't dispose of.

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback regarding your recent stay at our property, Menachem. We appreciate hearing both the positive aspects that your group enjoyed and the concerns you raised about the lower-level Master Bedroom.
-We extend our sincere apologies for any inconvenience you experienced due to the noise generated by the furnace and water heater. While we have not received previous complaints regarding this issue, we understand the disruptive nature it can have on your comfort and sleep. We want to assure you that both the water heater, which is less than a year old, and the furnace, which has been recently serviced, are in optimal working condition. However, we acknowledge that individual sensitivities differ, and we regret that this affected your ability to rest peacefully during your stay.
-Your feedback regarding the kitchenette's refrigerator and sink has been duly noted, and we are addressing these cleanliness issues promptly.
-Our ability to effectively address reported issues is greatly dependent on open communication and the availability of documentation. When documentation is not provided, we rely on our best judgment, taking into consideration the statements provided by all parties involved. We apologize if there was any misunderstanding regarding your case with Tina from Evolve. We will review our communication processes to ensure a more transparent and helpful resolution process in the future.
-We appreciate your understanding of the unique mountain environment, including the trash disposal system. The Village of Angel Fire dictates the trash disposal arrangement, and this property is closer to the trash collection center than most homes in the resort.
We genuinely appreciate your acknowledgment of the overall positive aspects of the property. We take all feedback seriously and use it as an opportunity to improve. As is evidenced by the many great reviews, these owners are accustomed to providing five-star experiences, and we look forward to this property hosting many happy travelers!

Family ski vacation
This place is huge and well maintained. There are several areas for family to gather and several separate bedrooms. The kitchen is well stocked. We were able to cook several various meals. We also ate out at two different restaurants. Both were excellent. There were TVs everywhere and excellent Wi-Fi speed. We got daily visits from dear and one parade of 30 to 40 elk. We were less than five minutes to the slopes and about two minutes to a grocery store and fuel source. There are also two playgrounds nearby for the kids to enjoy and hiking trails everywhere. Our adult kids and grandkids loved it.
The house was perfect for a multi-family vacation. We had 3 families in this beautiful home. The patio on the second floor was amazing and the weather was gorgeous. Everything was clean and the house came with anything we needed (linens, bedding, kitchen supplies, etc). The basement was a perfect space for the kids to play. We saw deer on the property multiple times and we were visited by hummingbirds every day! Definitely would recommend!
