Beautiful Mountain Getaway

Gorgeous views, lovely and spacious home, near fun little mountain town of Salida. We enjoyed skiing at Monarch and ringing in the new year in downtown Salida. Host was friendly, easily reachable, and gave lots of thorough instructions and ideas for things to do.

If you're looking for a super upscale, white-linen place, keep looking, this is not it. What it IS is a wonderfully cozy and comfortable cabin with everything needed for a great stay. The beds are comfortable, the TV is large and worked well, there is WIFI and a washing machine/dryer and wonderful couches and recliners. The deck was wonderful, with hummingbirds flitting about and horses in the pasture. The owners are also super responsive and nice. Even though the space is comfy, get out and explore! Salida, just up the road, is a quaint and attractive former mining town with a wonderful art-and-food-filled downtown. Canon City is about an hour's drive and worth it with so much to see and do. Enjoy!

Amazing Views!

Amazing view of the mountains and a lot of wildlife. Deer came right up by the back porch several times. Very spacious and great location. Located between CaƱon City and Salida- the drive between these towns is beautiful. Cabin is quiet and private. Great place to vacation!
