Amazing beach cottage retreat located within 2 short blocks to the beach.

Featuring tile floors throughout with 2 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with

walk-in showers. Cottage sleeps 7 with one King bedroom and a full/twin bunk

in the second bedroom. Includes top grade linens and plush towels for the

bedrooms. There is also a Queen sleeper sofa in the living area( $28 + tax for

linens/ towels for the sleeper sofa, or you may bring your own).

The kitchen has all appliances! Watch cable TV through-out the home even in

the dining area. Enjoy the large corner lot featuring tons of grass to run and

play or perhaps use the huge back deck perfect for summer entertaining

offering a charcoal grill for cooking out. There is complimentary wifi and

Parking for 2 vehicles in front of cottage.

This is a quieter residential area but close to the beach (about .1 mile) and

downtown Kure Beach offering shops, restaurants, fishing pier, boardwalk and

oceanfront park. Fort Fisher museum, Aquarium and Ferry are all just within 3

miles.

The downtown area of Carolina Beach is about 4 miles north and offers

additional shops, dining and the famous Britts donuts; as well as amusement

rides in the summer, music and fireworks on Thursday nights. Come and play in

our piece of paradise on Pleasure Island!

Cozy

Cozy little place in a quiet neighborhood. Our dogs loved the great little fenced yard! The wagon was awesome for getting everything down to the beach. We loved the quick walk to the ocean and the restaurants, bars, coffee, etc. in the very sweet Kure Beach.

Disappointing

Disappointed in this stay because this property has so much potential to be an extraordinary place. The location was amazing. It was a perfect walk to the beach. However, the house was very out dated on the inside. There were roaches and ants. The shower curtains were both moldy. The ceiling in the master bedroom was about to cave in above the tv. The tv in the kitchen didn’t work. The grass was above my ankles and was not cut at all during our 5 day stay. Over grown weeds and no swing on the swing set. The shower was so small you could not even turn around in it.

Needs TLC

Not happy with upkeep of property. Dead bugs on floor and in some no when arrived. Mold on outside and inside of shower curtain and liner. Layer of dust on fridge. Water to ceiling tiles left them marked and sagging. Lawn overgrown. Plastic lounge chairs on deck are cracked which pinches skin when you sit on them. Hose was clogged - no water came out. Deck boards loose - tripping hazard. Paid huge amount of money to have dogs stay which I wouldn’t have minded if place was maintained. They refunded my minuscule cleaning fee.
