Great House!
Beautiful house with gorgeous water views from almost every room in the house. They had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We will definitely be back again!
The home was lovely with very tasteful decor and a gorgeous waterfront view of the Chesapeake Bay. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfy, and there were lots of indoor and outdoor seating areas to relax with friends.
Just what we were looking for: gorgeous views of the water, very comfortable king size bed, relaxing hot tub; location remote enough to feel unplugged but close enough to towns and sites to have things to do if we wanted. We very much enjoyed our stay and would go again.
It was wonderfully relaxing environment for our family. We loved the sun set sky. We felt nicely at home in the interior and loved talking, reading, watching birds from the gazebo.

Absolutely beautiful!
The house was absolutely gorgeous! Well designed and beautifully decorated. We didn’t feel like we were in a rental. We loved being on the bay. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit and playing games at the kitchen table. Also enjoyed our coffee and crossword puzzles in the gazebo.
It is somewhat secluded so be prepared to drive to restaurants and shopping.
The house was spotless and beautiful! Fully supplied with coffee, cleaning supplies, spices, etc., basically everything you would need for a relaxing stay. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Loved the gazebo and took full advantage of the stunning sunsets on the dock.
A+ all the way around.
The property is somewhat secluded so you need to drive to restaurants and shopping.

By Far Exceeded Expectations!!
It is hard to express how much better this place is than described in the listing or seen in the pictures. The views are breathtaking and the amenities are superb!! There are many rooms with excellent views and the amount of space is expansive. Just a quick walk around the property outside and you feel like you are all alone with nature.
This rental was a great value and worth every penny!!!

Lovely
What a beautiful home. We loved the natural light and water views from every room. We had a spectacular sunset and enjoyed the wildlife, the herons and eagles and the deer, bunny, fox, and muskrat in the yard. The mosquito population did make it difficult to be outside even with personal mosquito repellant applied, so we really appreciated the screened gazebo which made it possible to enjoy fresh air on the property. We loved the furnishings - the Gino Russo coffee table is stunning. The notebook with detailed notes about the house and area and the brochures for Blackwater was very helpful. We went to the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad museum and the Blackwater Wildlife Drive was perfect for my 91 year old husband and my 85 year old self, while the younger generation went back the following day to walk some of the trails. They got some marvelous photos. We were grateful that the owner was very responsive when we had a problem.

Amazing stay
Amazing views, beautiful home, kayaks, hot tub, try Maryland Blue down the street
The most amazing thing about this home is the location right on the water. The house has LOTS of windows so you can see the water from almost every room. I enjoyed sitting with my coffee at the kitchen table and my husband read on one of the reading porches. My absolute favorite part was sitting on the dock enjoying the breeze and the sound of the light waves.
The house itself is older but has been upgraded. The kitchen is very nice, and had everything we needed to cook meals. The bathrooms are also new, and with a particularly nice master shower. The t.v. room has reclining chairs and surround sound, so we really enjoyed watching a few movies and t.v. shows. The living room furniture is nice, the desk came in handy, and the screened porch was a nice place to sit and chat. Everything was very much as it appeared in the pictures.
The only small downside was the distance from town. It's about 20 minutes to Cambridge. Not bad if you are going there to do an activity (like rent jet skis at the Hyatt Marina), but it's a long way to just pick up groceries or dinner. So I'd recommend planning ahead and getting what you need in as few trips as possible.
If we have the opportunity to go back to the area, we would seriously consider renting this house again. Thanks for a great stay!
Brilliant stay at this lovely house! The property was well maintained and well-equipped, with stunning views. Manager was very easy to communicate with and helpful.
Wow. The property, the setting, the details, the comfort - - all breathtaking.
The photos don't do justice to the unique beauty of the interior of the home. The "bones" and the flow of the structure and spaces are unusually lovely. The owners have creatively highlighted all that with colors and materials and furniture that - quite simply - elevate one's experience.
Exquisite interior design. Immaculate attention to detail.
Everything - the books, the TVs, the tech touches, the room features - are designed to indulge the guests and offer comfort and joy.
The light, all day, is exquisite and the changes and views are exciting. Wonderful, sensual breezes all day.
In addition to shore birds, the lake and garden attract a wide variety of birds.
Swimming off the pier was great fun, and kayaking was lovely.
(Kayaks are provided by the owners).
Everything is so comfortable, pristine, convenient. The place sparkled.
Several porches provide shaded options for different times of the day, and the gazebo is perfect.
The Blackwater National Wildlife Reserve is only minutes away.
Probably the most fabulous and perfect rental we've ever enjoyed. Every moment was a gift. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to experience life in this way.
