Wonderful place. Been coming up to Marquette my whole life and this is the best place I’ve ever stayed at. The beach is wonderful and it’s an easy walk to Presque Isle.

Tranquil beach cottage

This property is just as we hoped. Couldn’t ask for a better backdrop to visit Marquette with a private beach, ample living space and picture windows. Close to town but private, too. We fully enjoyed our stay here.

Great place, amazing views.

We were in town for a wedding with three kids. Very close to town and amazing views of the lake (with northern lights!). The kitchen is setup well and bedrooms are very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Tera was a fantastic host—communicative, helpful, and full of great tips to make sure we didn’t miss the northern lights. The property itself was breathtaking, with unbeatable beach access and stunning views. The house was beautifully updated, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, with all the amenities we could need. We’d love to stay here again on our next trip to Marquette. Highly recommend!

Home away from home.

Check in and out was super easy. Their was no problem getting in contact with the host The house was clean and comfortable. It was like a home away from home. I definitely will be staying there when i come back to Marquette. Plus, it is close to downtown Marquette and the views of Lake Superior are incredible.

Wonderful visit

Location was perfect for our group! Presque Isle Park just a half mile down the road made for mornings spent birding, walking, running, and viewing the activity of the ore boats. Close to Marquette for visiting museums and local eateries. Target close for grocery shopping. Lake front was wonderful.

Awesome house and location

Only drawback was the train switching yard across the street was noisy 24/7. After a while we didn't notice it as much, but the first few days were tough. Loved the house. Loved the beach. Views were outstanding!

A GREAT SPOT ON THE GREATEST LAKE

This is an incredible home right on Lake Superior. Very roomy. Clean. Super views of the lake. Extremely quiet. We've been coming to the UP for 20 years and this is the best place we've ever stayed. Tera is an All-Star host.

Lake Superior rental

Great location, right on Lake Superior. Walking, biking into Presque island park was easy. House was good for us with 3 generations. AC has a difficult time getting cool in second level. Screens in master bedroom need replacing. Overall, a great rental!

Pure Convenience

We had friends and family use this rental for a wedding. It was close to restaurants and the wedding venue which made it convenient for festivities leading up to the wedding and the wedding day. Overall, the rental was nice, but I can't say that is was clean to my family's standards. Seems like it could use an end of season deep clean. Baseboards, windowsills, windows, walls in traffic areas, light fixtures were not clean. Lastly, we thought the pictures above the king bed were cool, but way to low to bed as they kept falling off at night. Would recommend if you are looking for a summer place to stay with a large group.

Fabulous!

Visiting the UP has been a bucket-list item for our family. This home checked off all the boxes: close enough to Marquette for shopping and dining, yet just enough distance from town to feel we were away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Marquette’s airport made for relatively easy access from other parts of the country. Being able to sleep with the windows open and walk out the door and down to the beach was wonderful. The water clarity of Superior made for lots of rockhounding fun, and the proximity to Little Presque Isle Park allowed us ready access to beautiful sunset views, peaceful hikes, and thrilling jumps into the lake at Black Rocks. The home’s location is perfectly situated for day trips to various waterfall hikes or to other areas along the Superior shore. And if we wanted to stay put, the home’s accommodations were roomy and comfortable for our group of six. Tera is a wonderful and responsive host. Definitely will go back!

Beautiful!

So great to sit, watch and listen to the waves rolling in, and the fall colors just added an extra touch of beauty! The location is great for a visit to Marquette, and the UP in general. House was well-kept, kitchen had good supply of cooking tools, bed was super comfy. It was a great stay.
