People in 6 were smoking and talking outside our bedroom window until after 11 pm. On National Day had a party on deck and Indonesian was smoking. We’re respectful and moved back when we asked.

Great, but….

5/88 Brighton Blvd is an awesome stay because of its location—one block from Bondi Beach. The unit was spotless and well equipped for our family’s long stay. Our only complaints: 1) not good if you’re a light sleeper; and 2) we were overcharged to make the “king” bed in the large bedroom into two twins.. Regarding the noise: the unit faces a busy street and the last stop for several bus routes. It actually shakes when trucks drive past. If you’re a light sleeper, this noise and bustle won’t suit you. But our biggest beef is regarding the extra charge we paid to have the twin beds separated for our two adult children. We were charged a significant amount for the staff to buy extra linen and separate the beds. Nevertheless, there was no linen for the twins and we had to reach out to the management several times to secure it. Even after all that, what we got was two inexpensive polyester quilts . . . No twin size sheets, no duvet covers. We requested a refund and management declined.. Not very hospitable.

Hi Laurie Thank you for your review. We are sorry there was some confusion with the split beds. This property did not have the split bed option however the owner kindly went and bought new mattresses so that this could be an option for your stay. We supply two sets of sheets in all our properties so there is ample linen for each guest's stay. We hope to see you again.
