Ripped deck chair, poll was broke on canopy, chair rusted and broke, feet were black from the floors as soon as we arrived so they must not have been washed, no baking pans for the oven and rusted shelf in freezer.The ocean view was fabulous!! The pool was also great

The view was unbeatable. The place was clean and everything worked. Plenty of towels and washcloths and appreciated having beach towels.New mattresses - a bit firm in the guest room.A few more kitchen supplies would have been helpful- such as containers for leftovers. Microwave was pretty small. Bring something to darken the guest room - lots of light enters. Overall we enjoyed very much. Thank You!

Perfect location. I do wish I had understood more about the process when we arrived at location. It was late and very dark in garage where lock box was and I had never done anything like that before. Is there a way to see other rooms. Our was nice but I did not like the room the twin beds were in

Villa Madeira 503

The check in process was very good. We did have a bit of an issue with the code working every time on the first try but were never locked out of the condo. The inside of the condo is bright and cheery. The view of the gulf from the balcony was wonderful. All of us loved to sit out there at some point in the morning with our coffee and a good book. Location was great, close to all kinds of needs/wants. Being right on the beach was a plus for all of us. The property hosts were very attentive and always answered our questions promptly. We would definitely come back to this property.

Overall very organized , beautiful condo , location. , well supplied - disappointed the pool wasn’t open due to construction as it was advertised condo with heated pool ! I Did read email after that pool may be affected due to reconstruction/ Hurricane damage ! Regardless beautiful beach still happy in my choice!

Great place for a beach vacation. Very friendly residents Easy access elevator. I enjoyed the selection of beach reads and balcony views. On site staff were helpful with us to understand the TV set up. An extra parking spot for our friend was much appreciated.

Great location and beautiful beach.

The beach is so accessible and beautiful. Sunsets can be seen standing on the porch. Brand new furniture throughout the unit. Very beachy and pretty. The pool was not open yet due to hurricane. We were disappointed about that but we heard when it is done it will be beautiful. We would love to come back next year !

50th birthdays getaway

Lovely condo overlooking the ocean. We saw dolphins every morning while we had our coffee. The main bedroom is large and has a nice connecting bathroom. The additional bedrooms are a bit small, but we ended up sleeping on the couches with the screen door to the patio open to listen to the waves. With the patio being screened in, there was no worries of bugs. Overall, we enjoyed our time there and would recommend.

We enjoyed the property. Pool and area nice. Unfortunately we did not enjoy the screening on the balcony. Quick response to any problem. Couch kinda saggy. King bead is the squeaking noisiest bed we have ever slept in.

The location was great: beautiful beach, not too crowded, heated pool. Near tourist places and shopping, but not right where everyone was going. Condo itself was comfortable, but everything was dated and worn. 2 back bedrooms with twin beds were tight and sun rose to white blinds, waking you up early.

Screened balcony

All the furniture was new and comfortable. The view was amazing. We didn’t use the air conditioning because there was an odor in the condo. Management was quick to bring a new filter for the air conditioner unit, but odor was always there. Because of the temperature outside we were able to leave slider doors open for the week and that made the odor livable. There were plenty of towels, both for bathroom and the beach. We would consider staying there again if these things were addressed, it could have been cleaner, the fans in bathroom really loud and dated and the unknown odor was unsettling.

We have been coming to Villa Madeira for 13 years and this unit was the worst. We have photos of dirty dishes and linens, the floors made our feet black from.being so dirty and we found roaches . Never again

Can't beat the view, but beware pool still closed

This is a million dollar view. The property itself has some age and could use some updating, but it was clean, and the property managers are very responsive, which was positive.The only recommendation is they need to update their posting and check in procedures based on current status. The reason we selected this property over others was the mention of a heated pool. I was very disappointed that after the cancelation window, we got an email saying the pools still closed since November! Why has this not been updated!? Ocean was too cold to swim, so that sucked.Also, they give you check-in procedures that don't reflect the current construction state. Give instructions for key to lock box that is pointless right now since there is no lobby or pool. It's nice there are restaurants within walking distance and also a grocery store. Would stay again when the pool reopens.

Way over priced for the value

Condition of unit terrible, molding missing in 1 bathroom, molding falling off in another, 1 shower had mold in it, the dryer was flaking on the inside and left debris on our clothes, washing machine so loud we got complaints from neighbours. Bifold doors missing from closet, advertised as 3 bedrooms, 1 bedroom no closet or dresser, nowhere to put any clothes. Worst unit we have stayed in in 25 years
