Response from Mt Juliet Home: Steps to Old Hickory Lake! on 21 Oct 2025
From the owner: "I’m glad you enjoyed the location and convenience of having the marina right next door. I’m sorry to hear you had trouble detecting the Wi-Fi during your stay. It is available and supports all the media devices in the home. I appreciate your feedback and am happy to confirm that the connection is working properly for future guests."
We rented this house for our family during our daughter's wedding. It was such a great place for us to stay and the house was beautiful. Large rooms and plenty of bathrooms. Great for large family gatherings.
House was roomy. Very comfortable for my family of four, my sister and her daughter, and our parents. Definitely would stay again. Lots of deer and beautiful lake.

Beautiful home
The property was clean and well kept. Plenty of space and a upper and lower master so nice for multiple families traveling together.
4 of us old Navy friends got together for the first time since 1989! Had a great time visiting. The house is beautiful and large. The host is friendly and very helpful. Definitely an A+
What a great house. It was perfect. Great deck, living room and kitchen which is where we were the whole time. Very relaxing and definitely dog friendly. We will be back next year for sure.
Mount Juliet is beautiful and convenient to trails, boating, food and Nashville. Home had a back deck with a view of the Marina and river. Super roomy bedrooms and baths. There were 10 of us and we loved every minute except when our dog ran off as we were packing up!!
Great location for Grandpa and three adult grand kids!
Place was great! Lots of room. Nice to be near the water. Close enough to Nashville.
Bring hangers as closets were plentiful but no hangers. Owner should add towel racks in bathrooms which were very nice, clean and spacious. Kitchen was great but needs a set of knives ( we found one sharp knife).
Loved the place and would do it again!
Great location away from the hustle and bustle of Nashville. We had three cars and a Truck and trailer (moving our kids here) and had plenty of room in garage and driveway. Great high ceilings, and the ac was amazing during the heat wave experienced while we were here (high 90’s). Lots of wild life (deer, turtle, a fox and fire flies!) Quiet and neighbors are not right on top of you.

The house was nice with great potentials
The house was nice with great potentials very spacious enough room for a large family, a nice cooking area and outside deck, but it could have been cleaned better before our arrival. There was dust and cob webs in some of the rooms. Some of the TV's in the house didn't work and one kitchen chairs was broke upon our arrival.
Well upon arrival there were people still in the home. Upon contacting the very rude sherry the property manager we learned they had canceled our stay and never even notified us. Two weeks later we are still waiting on our refund. Over 1000 spent to rent it and never got to use it. Had to get rooms for us and our guests at the confort suites. We were offered the house the following day for one night and half day boat rental to make up for it. But when you are spoke to and treated like we were we wont ever go back unless its a free trip.

No amenities for use in home.
We flew in from the Pacific Northwest to stay in a home so we could use it as our home. However, this home had no knives or cutting boards. The cooking pans were all cut on the bottom. There was no tissue paper or any cleaning supplies to clean up all the dust, bunnies and spiderwebs within the house. However, they did have new towels, and the beds are pretty soft. Plus, we got a good deal on a boat rental from the marina that it’s right next to which was my kids favorite part.

Great place for a family
In general, this space was a great find for a larger family. It had a lot of great spaces to hang out in, without everyone being on top of each other. We’d consider staying here again but it was not perfect. There was only one key, a physical key, which made it extremely difficult to coordinate locking and entering the home between families. A keypad would be better so everyone could access the code. Only giving 3 stars because it did seem as if there was an abundance of ladybugs in the house. And we couldn’t tell, but in each top corner of the house there were black masses that were either mold or dead bugs…either being gross. We think whatever it was triggered some asthmatic reactions. There were also some moldy things left in the dishwasher before we got there, so unsure how thorough the cleaning was beforehand. The cleaning fee is a bit high so that was very disappointing. But in general, the space worked for us and had plenty of sheets and towels to spare. The kitchen supplies were sufficient and the rooms were comfortable. Just wish there was more seating to accommodate larger groups. Folding chairs or something. And a fire pit would have been nice!
