First, working with the property manager was seemless. He responded quickly to questions and had someone take care of the air conditioning unit when it stopped and another person come clean the pool since it had not been cleaned when we arrived. We were there for a baseball tournament, so the location was ideal - couldn't have been better.
However, we woke up at 4am the day we were scheduled to leave to find our minivan gone. When we called the police, they suggested we call the impound lot. Yep, it had been towed; when my husband backed into the driveway to pack the night before, the front of the vehicle was in the dip between the road and the driveway - NOT in the road! When we communicated with the attendant at the lot who took a picture of our vehicle, he also noted that it was a ridiculous call-in. We suspect that the neighbor who called for our vehicle to be impounded lived in the culdesac, did not have a life, was nitpicky, and was not happy to have vrbo renters. Also, we were gone every day going to baseball games and were anything but obnoxious.
I will say that the neighbor to the right of our rental was super friendly and helpful, and again the property manager was great to work with.
Beware of the old bitty neighbor if you rent this place.
