The house was exactly as advertised, plenty spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed and the hot tub sure does get hot, keeping our bellies full and muscles ready for the slopes. We look forward to staying here again the next time we get to ski at Jay Peak!
This house was the perfect place to gather with friends - lots of room - comfortably held us all. Loved hanging around the counter in kitchen, playing pool in the evening g and - of course - the hot tub. Nice private spot and close to great skiing at Jay and a yummy dinner at The Belfry.
My family and some friends (along with our infant and a dog) stayed at the house for a ski weekend at Jay. Everything about the house was clean and in good condition. The owner and property manager were super responsive when a storm blew down a tree into the road that partially blocked the way in.
This house was perfect for our ski weekend getaway. The house setup was great for the 8 of us and the property was very secluded and private. The amenities were awesome - Fully stocked kitchen, hot tub robes and towels, cleaning supplies and soap all included. 4 wheel drive a definite must have in the area, especially in season when it snows daily. Perfect winter wonderland getaway!

Excellent
Two families with teens had a terrific time here. Kitchen was well-stocked and well-equipped, but there are several restaurants nearby if you prefer not to cook. Hot tub was lovely. Very comfortable beds. Super responsive hosts when we had questions. Very easy access to Jay Peak. Highly recommend!
Great location new Jay Peak. Went up with a group of 5 friends and checkin process was very easy. Everything in the house was clean and setup for our arrival. Hot tub was the main perk but we loved the layout of the house and kitchen. Beds were comfortable and having 2.5 baths worked well for our group in the mornings. Host clearly communicated with us prior to our arrival and when we arrived we found additional information on how to work the remotes. Overall, great location, everyone in my party was extremely happy and great location for snowboarding at Jay.
We stayed at this house for our trip to the Jay Peak indoor waterpark. We had 4 adults and 5 kids (age range 8-13). We had more fun at the house than the water park. The kids played football and wiffleball and did gymnastics in the large yard and we spent a lot of time at the outside fire pit! The kids also loved the hot tub! I would highly recommend this house.
The home is absolutely perfect for a group. We had 8 of us and there was plenty of space for us and all our ski stuff. The hot tub was amazing. Everything was very clean and lots of supplies. My dog was very happy and enjoyed the yard and the space as well. We highly recommend this property and already getting ready to plan for next year! Thank you! Kristin
I highly recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in the Jay Peak area. It was a cozy and warming house. The owner’s made the whole process extremely easy with their lengthy but informative notes when checking in. I would stay here again once we’re back up in Northern Vermont….Also the book collection was my favorite part. One day I took a break from skiing and picked up a book.
Overall we were very pleased with the house. The owner Tom was very responsive and informative. A relatively minor issue with the hot tub heating but it was not that big of a deal. Also, there is no fireplace (or use of wood burning stove) but that is disclosed on the listing. The house was very clean and spacious and in a lovely secluded setting. Overall we were very pleased.
Can’t wait to return to this property next year! So much space for everyone and tucked away for all the privacy. Tom was so attentive and accommodating with all our needs. Thank you so much! Home is well maintained and has everything you could possibly need and then some. Minutes to the mountain, what more could you ask for?!

Lovely Montgomery Home
We had a wonderful three night stay at this large lovely house. There were enough bedrooms for half of our family and the other part of our family stayed with our daughter in her Montgomery home. The home was stocked with everything we needed other than our food! Large backyard and fire pit which our crew definitely had fun using. This is a dog friendly home which was another plus for us! We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to those looking for a spacious four bedroom home in a secluded area.
Everything was great! The property managers were extremely communicative leading into check in as well as amicable! The one note would be providing more in-depth explanation on how to access the house. From the road - it is not clear whether one should bear right to access the property or continue driving straight and that made initially accessing the property confusing. Aside from that little mishap - everything was fantastic!
Having rented a number of VRBO properties we were all extremely impressed and satisfied with this one.The location was perfect. The house itself was so warm and welcoming. The entire family called our 6 day stay as "EPIC"!!!Adult friendly, child friendly, user friendlyThe house had everything you would need for a perfect stay including kitchenware, bathroom items, TV access, internet access, pool table, multiple games. The host was incredible and responsive with their directions and tips, all supplied in a two page information letter. This home is a fantastic retreat in the beautiful and quaint town of Montgomery Vermont. We are sure that this would be a perfect place to stay in every season.Finally......This stay brought our whole family closer together and we were sad to have to leave.Thank you
Our stay was planned for the total eclipse. We arrived and the house was beautiful and clean as expected with everything we needed. The owner (Tom) had awesome communication prior to the trip. We had everything we needed at the house - toiletries and towels and kitchen equipment. Our plan was to just hang out at the house for the eclipse. It was awesome! We had beautiful weather and an amazing time. The property is great and we even explored the woods surrounding the house a bit. The road to the house is as advertised - it is ideal to have AWD/4WD. But we had no trouble. Would definitely stay there again if we visited the area.
I don't usually leave reviews, but I am for this rental for the following reasons. First, the host, Tom, is so kind. I got COVID a few days before our rental, and he worked with me (both spoke to me on the phone and through text) to ensure that the platform he uses to rent it was aware that the booking needed to be changed and that he approved it (it was right before the deadline for changes). When I finally made it to the house a year later after rescheduling, he let us check-in much earlier than I expected without issue. And when I had a question about the home while we were there, he was very responsive. His kindness and responsiveness are honestly part of the reason why I would book it again. Second, the house is right down the road from the Belfry. It is a local restaurant with delicious food that I make sure to go to whenever we are up at Jay. The house is also about a 15 minute drive from Jay Peak, so it was easy to drop off/pick up my skier husband while I hung out with the kids, and to go back and forth to the water park. Third, the house is great for one or two families to share. The house is tucked away and has good sightlines to the front and back, so we were able to let the kids play outside while we kept an eye on them from the inside. FYI that the bunk beds are on the first floor and the rest of the bedrooms are on the second floor. It was fine for us, but if you have younger kids you might not want them staying in that room on a different floor.
