Very nice home!

We had several issues arise during our stay; one was potentially dangerous but the others were minor. The manager and owner were VERY quick to respond to our concerns and help to solve the problems. The home was perfect for our group. There were plenty of towels. The kitchen had all the utensils, plates, cups, etc you could need. It was very clean and comfortable. Easy walk to the beach and downtown shops. We would definitely stay here again.

From the owner: "Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear parts of your stay did not meet expectations. Since your visit, we’ve had a plumber inspect the area under the kitchen sink and confirm a slow leak, which has now been repaired. We have also completed a deep clean of the home and made several upgrades, including new windows, fresh interior paint, cleaned carpets, a new upper deck off the primary bedroom, new faucets in the second bathroom, and updated shower plumbing in the third bedroom. While the backyard is not advertised as fenced, I appreciate you bringing your concerns to my attention, and I remain committed to providing a clean and comfortable stay for future guests."

Overall it fit our needs well. Lots of space and a great dinimg table for some tabletop gaming. The bathrooms could definitely use some updating and the water pressure was pretty poor. I wish yhe backyard would have been fully fenced, from the listing it appeared it was.

Great house for family/friend get together. Easy to walk to the beach. TV was logged in to owners account so there were very limited kid shows available and nothing else, would have been nice to have the PIN. FYI we could also see personal family pictures on the TV screen saver

Wonderful Family Gathering

This is an older home which has a great open living room, dining room, kitchen area. Very spacious! There are 4 bedrooms, one of which is a master bedroom. The 3 bathrooms are a plus! The contact person is warm & helpful if we needed something. It was a wonderfully special time for us as a family.

The house was well maintained and large enough for the 8 adults. Only complaint was the TV in the master bedroom is ancient and not able to use for anything but play DVDs.

Nice place for a group

We had a good time at the house for a family reunion trip. There were some maintenance items need to be addressed like one of the broken screen doors and the kitchen sink was leaking a bit under the garbage disposal, but it didn’t bother our time there. Also not that there are several levels of steps to the bedrooms and to the bathrooms so it can be less convenient for the elderly. The kitchen is well equipped. The location is great it is walking distance to the beach and train depot while in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood.

This time around was better than when we were there in April. Communication was better with the agent. The home was clean. However with the amount of adults we had there should have been more paper towels and toilet paper available. We had to run to the store to get some after the 3rd day. Also there was not a sponge in the kitchen to clean so I had to grab that too. Other than that our stay was great.

The house was not clean when we arrived. Fridge was dirty. Had hair in the freezer. All the bathrooms were dirty. Poop on the toilets. We had to clean before we could enjoy our time. The bedrooms were not clean like they should of been. Found trash under the beds. The master bedroom patio is not safe. Broken boards. The floors were not clean. Base boards around the house were dirty. Kitchen and dishes were dirty. Had family from out of town and we had to clean the house. First time ever having this happen.

Overall decent stay

The property had plenty of room for our large family, close to the market and ocean. Downside was the cleanliness. There was dog poop all over the front yard and a little in the back. Also whomever cleans the home, didn't vacuum as there was cereal on the livingroom carpet when we checked in, the mattress under the stairs had bits of crumbs and dirt all over it. There are ant traps in the kitchen and ants walking around countertops. I get homes get ants, however the countertops still had crumbs all around so I dont see ants leaving anytime soon so long as there is a food source. Overall decent spot, cleaning needs to be better.

Pictures much better than house is in person.

The property is very dated. The water pressure in all 3 showers is very poor. The shower on the mid level has a third of the water poor down the drain. The first morning when I turned the light on in the kitchen there was a cockroach on the kitchen counter near the sink. The carpets are stained and dirty throughout the house. The interior of the home is very tired. There was a fire pit with the bottom rusted out in the backyard. The previous guest left a huge pile of dog feces by the steps at the back door. The garage is a dirty mess. There is nothing to pick-up dog droppings at the house, thank goodness Dollar General had a dust pan we could use to pick up our dogs droppings.
