About this property
Byron Bay Holiday Homes - Combi's Cove, Beachside Oasis
Combi's Cove - WINTER SPECIAL - 20% discount when you book for 3 nights or more.
Have fun with family or friends in this fabulous oasis. Backing onto a reserve you will enjoy privacy, a leafy outlook and peaceful birdsongs with access to a shared pool surrounded by Palms. Combi's Cove is beautifully styled with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Positioned in a quiet, gated complex, Combi's Cove is the ideal beachside lifestyle location. Spend time enjoying walks along the beach, sipping a coffee, eating the best pies at the Suffolk Bakery or catching a wave at Tallows.
Combi's Cove has three, large carpeted bedrooms. Upstairs, the master suite offers a king bed that can be split into two king singles, a private balcony, ensuite and walk in robe. Bedroom two offers a queen bed and a tranquil outlook over the reserve. Bedroom three offers a king single bed with a trundle and each bedroom has a ceiling fan. There is also a full bathroom with a bath to relax in after a day at the beach, pool or a day shopping in Byron Bay.
Timber floors throughout the light filled living and lounge area look out onto two private courtyard spaces - one with a large table, BBQ and Balinese teak daybed. There is also a downstairs laundry with a third toilet.
The modern kitchen has everything you need to feel at home while on holidays for those who love to cook, or serve up delicious local pizzas, fish and chips or curries.
Cut through the reserve with an easy 50m walk to shops and The Suffolk Park Tavern or walk 550m in the opposite direction to the world-class glorious 6.5km Tallow Beach where you can walk from Cosy Corner all the way down to Broken Head.
There is plenty of space for families within this gated complex, which includes a pool & cabana area. Relax in the pool with our pool noodles and for the little ones, we have a kids clam for them to splash around in.
There is a single lock-up garage available for you to use at Combi's Cove.
Combi’s Cove has generous sized rooms and a range of spaces for resting, rejuvenating, sharing meals with family and friends or setting up a work desk when needed with the ergonomic chair and fold away table provided.
Combi’s Cove is an exceptional location, a 20 minute drive from Ballina airport
and just under one hour from Coolangatta airport. A quick 15 minutes drive to Bangalow’s boutiques and market and 12 minutes to Newrybar and the amazing Harvest deli and restaurant.
Ride your bike safely along the shared path from Combi’s Cove to the Byron Bay precinct or hire an electric bike and ride along Tallow Beach.
Seasons Guide
Suffolk Park’s mild, temperate climate and year round events calendar make it a perfect place to holiday year round. We have included a quick summary of the seasons below and some of our favourite things to do:
Spring (Sep - Nov)
Spring in Byron Bay is a premium time to visit with smaller crowds and the days growing longer and warmer. This time of year also has the lowest average rainfall, making it a great pre-summer break. The water at this time is warming up and wetsuits begin to peel off.
Summer (Dec - Feb)
Although this period has the hottest days (average around 27 ºC), the evenings often have showers, cooling the temperature down. The ocean is warm and perfect for days on the beach, but don’t forget your sunscreen and hat, as sunburn is common. The hottest time of year in Byron Bay is also the busiest, coinciding with school holidays.
Autumn in Byron Bay (Mar-May)
Average temperatures in Byron Bay stay warm (in the mid-20's) right up to the onset of Winter. The water is still warm though and the end of daylight saving also means warmer mornings. The crowds thin as school begins and the drop in heat makes it easier to stay longer on the beach. The famous Byron Blues festival is a key date for the calendar this time of year.
Winter (Jun - Aug)
The coldest month in Byron Bay is July where the average daily maximum is 19.4 ºC and the minimum 11.7 ºC. Surfers will need a wetsuit, but the water is clear and the skies are generally cloud free and perfect for warming yourself in the sun. This is a great time to channel your inner Yogi at a retreat, explore the Hinterland or watch the whales pass through on their migration.
