Beachside Slade Pt, Walk to Seabreeze Hotel

Summary:

Wake to the sound of the surf in this cosy two bedroom unit at Slade Point, one street back from the beach and directly opposite the Seabreeze Hotel. Walk across the road for dinner and a drink with an ocean view, then wander home. On live music nights you will still catch a little of it from your courtyard. Leave the car where it is for the whole stay. All on one level, with a private courtyard, a BBQ and a covered carport for one car, with free street parking for a second. Lamberts Beach Lookout is two minutes away, where in season you will often spot whales.



The Space:

The air-conditioner in the living area is deliberately oversized to cool the whole bnb when the bedroom doors are open.

There is a shared laundry equipped with a washing machine exclusively for you and also a smart TV and Wi-fi for your enjoyment. We have provided some books, games, and children's toys as well.

For your safety and peace of mind, we have a Minut Noise Monitor in the living area and a Ring Doorbell Camera at the front door. These features help ensure a secure and comfortable stay while respecting your privacy.



Guest Access:

This is a private unit with its own courtyard and a shared laundry.



The Neighborhood:

The View from Lamberts Beach lookout is only a short walk away and during the season you will often be able to view the whales on their migration. The beach is a family-friendly area and is patrolled during school holidays and from Sept through to March. You are across the road from the beautiful Seabreeze Hotel where you can enjoy a meal with a view or order a takeaway and drinks and enjoy them at home.



Getting Around:

Navigation around Mackay is easy by car. Alternatively there is a bus stop about 5 mins walk from the unit that will take you either into town or to the two major shopping centres. We also have a fairly responsive taxi service and Uber have also commenced operations.



Other Things to Note:

The smart TVs are connected to the internet, so you can sign into your own streaming accounts and watch your own shows. Please note that free-to-air reception at this property is unreliable and some channels may not be available during your stay. This does not affect the smart TV or streaming.



On some evenings you may hear live music from the Seabreeze Hotel across the road while you are outside in the courtyard. It is not audible inside the unit with the doors closed.



Interaction with Guests:

I will be available by message or phone call during your stay between the hours of 8am and 10pm if you are looking for advice on where to eat or what's around or even on the operation of any of the appliances etc. We will be around to mow lawns and weed and water gardens and also take the external bins out.
