Island House Beach Resort, Crescent Beach, Siesta Key, Florida: Apt. 8-S is RIGHT on the world famous Crescent Beach — awarded "The Best Beach in America” (TripAdvisor), ”the whitest and finest sand in the world" (Great International Beach Challenge), "The Best Sand Beach in America" (The Travel Channel). With only two apartments on each floor, this 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom top-floor apartment has panoramic views of Crescent Beach during the day, and front-row seats to spectacular sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico each evening. Island House offers a large heated swimming pool with sun deck, gas grills, shuffleboard courts, a recreation room with ping pong, pool table, & air hockey. To relax or entertain, you'll find this 4th floor apartment with elevator has it all: central air conditioning, ceiling fans, dining room seating for six, two leather recliners, HD TVs, free wi-fi, Blu Ray, stereo - plus books, games, & movies for all ages. A wall of sliding glass doors open the living room to a furnished screened lanai with sliding glass windows overlooking the beach and Gulf. The large master BR has a king bed, HD TV, Blu-ray — plus 14 feet of closets! Its adjoining bathroom has a deluxe walk in shower and double sinks. The 2nd BR has a queen bed, HD TV, DVD player, & double closet. The eat-in kitchen has granite counters, microwave & toaster ovens, 5-burner ceramic topped stove with convection/radiant oven, Cuisinart food processor, dishwasher, disposal, blenders, plus wine glasses & service for sixteen. Free laundry facilities are adjacent to a screened kitchen lanai. Covered parking. Great shops, restaurants, galleries, golfing, biking, hiking, tennis, fishing & other water sports minutes away.

Enjoyable 12 days at Island House

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 8S was a great unit. Wonderful views of the ocean and sunset. High enough to dull noise. Quiet and private. Master bed comfy. Showers had great water pressure. Kitchen has pretty much anything you need. Some of the outlets and switches in the unit need replaced but nothing major. Office hours are inconsistent despite the listed hours. We were one of several people who couldn't seem to get the key lockbox to open. With all of that said, overall great stay and look forward to returning to Island House soon.

Island House Vacation

What a Beautiful View!

Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay at the Island House on the most magnificent beach in Florida! The unit was clean, the view from the lanai is spectacular. The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed to do our cooking. Some of the cooking utensils and baking sheets need to be replaced, but that's minor. The one thing I would recommend is to upgrade the guest bedroom queen mattress. It is uncomfortably hard. The pillows were flat, but the woman in the office was so accommodating and found us better ones. The staff here is awesome. The pool area and outdoor space near the grills and beach are clean and well kept. I saw maintenance men always cleaning up the area. When we next come back to Siesta Key, I hope I can find a unit at the Island House!
