Nothing like the pictures
Sadly, there were many issues, but I will Document the ones that ruined our trip first off when we arrived the front door was open. Come to find out. It was due to the fact that the door did not latch so I had to prop a chair in front of it to keep the wind from blowing it open the second disappointment was The property was not clean. There was dust all over the furniture. The yard was a mess with trash (empty beer bottles, and food Packaging ) scattered throughout. There was Pineneedles everywhere on the balcony and throughout the yard… The worst part was the Furnace ran nonstop, but the temperature in the cabin never exceeded 56°. We attempted to build a fire in the fireplace, but it only produce smoke throughout the house, so it had to be extinguished at this point we decided to wrap ourselves in a blanket and try and keep warm throughout the night We did reach out to the managing company and the local contacts, but they could not sufficiently Resolve the issue with the furnace After going back-and-forth with the managing company and the local contact person, we decided that it was best we find another place to spend our second and third night We were reimbursed for two nights that we did not stay in the cabin, but we truly feel that due to the situation we should’ve been reimbursed the cleaning fee and the damage fee due to the fact that we only spent one evening curled up in bed, trying not to freeze We feel we were truly Not respected or treated properly Throughout

We just didn’t like the fact that there was no heated water out while stay so we had freezing cold water the whole time but overall the place is beautiful and quiet.

You like Elk!!!
Elk everywhere, very breathtaking to listen to the bugling as I sipped my morning cup of joe (supplied by owners). Nicely located near the local market and restaurants.
