Beautiful cabin with a remarkable view. The entire cabin was immaculately clean. Hot tub was very nice out under the stars. Each room had a comfortable king bed which made it perfect for two couples. We love Blue Ridge and this cabin made our visit very nice. Nice TVs as well. It is a definite haul up to this mountain top cabin and a few of the roads are narrow and bumpy. Just a note if you are staying longer than a few days take extra paper products (paper towels and toilet paper). Also take your own soap, shampoo and conditioner as not enough is included. Again, we really enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely perfect and extremely clean. View was better than pictures. The fact that both rooms essentially had their own restrooms was a bonus. The neighborhood is charming and many people walking their dogs throughout the day. Deer walking by the cabin added to the overall ambiance.

Hi Lisa,

We enjoyed our peaceful stay at Up, Up & Away. The cabin was cutely decorated, cozy and clean. The wood burning fireplace was a treat for us as was the hot tub. Our labrador loved taking walks in the leaves along the roadside. The roads are somewhat narrow getting to and from the property. We drove slower in case there wax another vehicle coming.
The cabin was really nice and cozy. It was very clean. Kitchen has everything needed to cook. Also has a drip coffeemaker and a Keurig. It was nice that we had a fenced in area for our dog but it could use lights in the space. We found the lockbox a little difficult to open but eventually got it. Management was very responsive to all my questions.
Just as an FYI the roads leading to the cabin are winding and narrow so we didn’t venture out at night.

HI Jean,
Thank you so much for staying with us at Up, Up and Away. We hope you will be back soon! Have a great day! ~Michelle
The cabin was great. Just the right size for 2 people and our pups! However, the "fenced-in yard" is a side area with no grass just dirt, that any larger dog could get out of easily so be careful and watch them because ours tried to escape.
The AC did not work the entire three days we were there. It was 78-80 degrees inside the entire three days. We thought the first day it would just get cooler inside but it did not.
I contacted the property manager and he was quick to respond saying he would send someone over on a Friday night around 7 pm which was impressive. He told us to turn the thermostat off before we left for dinner and we did around 5 pm. He sent a text during our outing that night stating the HVAC guys got there and the unit was not ruened off so they could not do anything. I said yes we did. I even sent pictures of the thermostat before we left showing it was turned off. It got up to 82 degrees in there last night. When we returned I sent a video showing the unit was turned off and the thermostat at 80. I asked if they went to the right house. He said they did and thanks for the video and pictures.
We were miserable even with the windows open. I feel as if we deserve some sort of compensation for a service we paid for and did not receive.
Will not return to this cabin.
