A stones throw from the ocean and nestled amongst the forest this spacious 2 bedroom suite offers the perfect West Coast escape.

Whether you're chasing the swell, looking for a new hike or want to cozy up in front of the woodstove on a rainy day, you'll be sure to have a relaxing time.

** TENNIS COURT **
The court is a working progress but the net is up and you can enjoy a game. While we're still fixing the netting around the court please be mindful of the balls going into the next door neighbours yard.
Tennis Rackets & Balls supplied.

*we can set up an additional double mattress on the floor if you need, just let us know if you require it*

*You need to walk up three tiled steps to get into the bathroom, please be mindful of this if you have children or can't manage stairs very well*


IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE:

Sooke is about a 10 minute drive away and is the last place you can buy groceries and fill your car before arriving at our suite.

We are located just outside of the Canadian mobile phone service range so we recommend putting your phone on flight mode so you don't get pinged with US roaming. We have high speed internet which allows for Wi-fi Calling (on iphones & androids) and we can put a landline in the suite upon request.

During the winter months *(and the occasional windy summer day)* power outages can be common. We hope you understand we are not able to anticipate or resolve these should one occur during your stay. We recommend putting a log on the fire to keep the house warm and taking a drive/walk while waiting for it to come back on. BC Hydro updates their websites frequently and is good at giving an estimated time the power will come back on.

Hosts were great. The property was spacious and fantastic for kids. Everything was well stocked, a perfect getaway for a family. This is a basement suite so if you are a light sleeper, you may want some background noise or earplugs.

They were extremely accommodating. When our granddaughters wanted to have an outside fire, they provided wood and matches and made sure our fire was lit and stayed lit.

Great stay, lovely downstairs part of the house. The owners are lovely too. They are upstairs but it's very private and you get your own space. House was clean, cosy, with lots of amenities for cooking and extra towels and blankets.

Weekend away

Maddie’s place was exactly what my friends and I were looking for during our long weekend on the island and we had a great time. The unit is spacious and clean with all the basic necessities. We had a bit of difficulty finding the unit, but that was our own fault for not looking properly. I would definitely stay again or recommend this unit to others.

Hidden gem

This is our second stay here, and we love it more each time. The location is ideal—close to popular beaches and trails, nestled in a forest, yet conveniently near the city center for all necessary services. The private tennis court is a fantastic bonus. Maddison and Chris are exceptional hosts: friendly, accessible, and accommodating. We highly recommend this place.
