Ensconced in dappled sunlight in woods alongside a ravine, Prince of Tides is a light-filled two-story cottage with a large partially wrap-around deck with a hot tub perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. Located just a block from the ocean and three blocks from downtown Manzanita, this home lets your guests strike off on their own on foot. With soaring, wood-lined ceilings, the great room has a beautiful fireplace, TV, leather sofa, and comfy seating for gathering. Hardwood floors, light décor, a wood staircase, and a giant blue marlin on the wall make this unique space open and bright. The dining table sits beside floor-to-ceiling windows to the woods, with extra seating along the kitchen breakfast bar. A gorgeous, fully equipped kitchen will set you up for all the dining in you want; you’ll be close to groceries or take-out given your convenient location. You can also eat outdoors on the back deck, where a dining table, seating and a barbecue are ready for al fresco meals. A side deck has cushioned furniture for relaxing.

We all loved the house. It is beautiful, clean, and nicely furnished and equipped. 1 block from the ocean, lovely hot tub. Plenty of cookware available to make a nice dinner every night. A couple of minor repairs need to be made - I mentioned those in an email to the rental company. ..

This was an amazing surprise of greatness. We were absolutley impressed with the location, scenery and overall experience. I will absolutely go back in a heart beat!!! This had everything and location was spot on!!! I wish i had spent one more night!!!

Wonderful beach stay!
We loved our stay in this cute and quiet house. It is clean, modern and full of light. The furniture was very comfortable, lots of pillows. The shower and bed were a little hard to get in and out of if you are a short person like me. We will definitely stay again!

Wonderful
Great location. Lovely house. Everyone had a great time. Really enjoyed the front deck seating area. All the trees surrounding the home felt like a treehouse.

Girls trip
Overall, it was very comfortable and a nice home. We would suggest having a hairdryer at the house. Also, in the kitchen it would be nice to have a reusable coffee filter and maybe one size of storage containers for food or bags. The neighborhood was very quiet and in a great location. We were very happy with the property.

Overnight Pacific Ocean stay
Nice sized house, modern and clean. Only a couple blocks from ocean access. Small quiet town, about 20 minutes from a larger town that has many food and shopping options.

Perfect for quick overnight
Home was very cozy. A quick walk to the beach. Perfect for 1 night for 6. If we had stayed longer we would have preferred a larger home.

Hot tub was amazing!
Beautiful, cozy, clean, and the hot tub was amazing! We were right next to the beach. A local coffee shop and grocery store can be found minutes from the location. Neighbors were quiet. There was a slight issue trying to find the light switch for the lights above the dinning room table. It is in an inconspicuous spot under the counter.

A nice comfortable rustic house near the beach and restaurants. The beach is just a few minutes walk and most restaurants are about a 10 minute walk. The house is in a nice location. We came to hike and Oswald West State Park is just a short drive away with many trails. Our favorite was South Neahkahnie Mountain Trail, incredible views from the top. If hiking be sure to have All Trails or a similar app because sometimes the trails are not clearly marked. We did not use it but the house also comes with a large hot tub. Thank you for sharing your home with us—we truly enjoyed our stay in Manzanita. The house is very nice, and we especially appreciated the hot tub, which worked great.I wanted to pass along a few items that could help make future stays even more comfortable for guests:•One of the kitchen shelves appears to be broken and was difficult to close.•In the upstairs boys’ bedroom, the trundle bed (which we did not use) seems to be broken at the main pull-out cover.•The downstairs master bathroom drain needed to be cleaned out in order to drain properly; I took care of this during our stay.•The oven stopped working yesterday and may require service related to the cooling system.•The front heater in the living room did not work. We were aware the upstairs heater was already not operational.•The front door handle may need replacement soon, as it is becoming difficult to operate.•The house could benefit from a more thorough dusting and overall deep cleaning.Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would love the opportunity to rent the home again in the future. Hopefully these items can be addressed to make the experience even better going forward.Thank you again—we appreciate your hospitality and look forward to coming back.Best regards,The Keen’s

We appreciate the detailed feedback — we had the maintenance team repair the trundle, the shower and sink drains have been cleared, the cadet heater was fixed, the door knob was fixed, and the oven was power cycled and is now working great.
