Cozy Cabin Stay

This was an excellent place to view the 2024 eclipse. It was secluded and a short drive to close state parks. This cabin has great amenities like a rain shower and an adjustable bed. Because of the compact size, I'd recommend it for a party of 4 or less looking to get away.

Tiny Home stay

We arrived in the dark and that made it difficult to find, but a quick responsive call with the owner help us locate it. We had to drive across the grass field to get to the house, which turned out to be no problem for the jeep. The house was perfect for our needs.

Nice place, very private

I liked my stay there but a few things could be better. The tv was not viewable from the downstairs, the ladder to the loft was a little bit tricky, the pullout sofa was not big enough for two people and very uncomfortable.

Cozy getaway cabin

We had a great time at this cabin, the property is very clean and well taken care of. There was plenty of fire wood for a bonfire both nights we were there. The land was quiet and peaceful, we laid out our blankets by the bonfire to stargaze, such a beautiful location to watch the stars. Shower was incredible, great water pressure. Our host Robert was very responsive whenever we had questions. This location has everything you need, we will definitely book again when we come back next year!

Beautiful

As long as you don’t cross the neighbors property line you’ll have all the serenity you need. No TV no Internet. Definitely a place to recharge.

Ideal remote retreat

Perfect for a remote writing retreat! I spent a few days here on my own reading and writing and it was lovely. Was pretty easy to find although the lack of driveway was a bit confusing at first. The wifi and cell service is basically non-existent but for what I was trying to do that week. The sun room was lovely and the kitchen was easy to cook in. The shower had great pressure and the laundry worked great. The ladder to the loft was easy to get to up and down. I would book this place again.

Cozy upstate New York Getaway

The description did not mention property had no driveway and one has to driveway over grassy terrain. Also there was no railing and landing at the door. Difficult to get in and out. Otherwise place was great. Very quiet and the shower was outstanding best part of the place.

Nice but could’ve been better

It was a very nice area and small space. Was very confused about no driveway and I have a small car. Was worried it wouldn’t make it. I feel a shop vac could have been ran through the place with all the cobb webs and the dishwasher was still broke. There were dirty dishes in it as well. There was no trash bags for kitchen garbage and sponge was discussing. We bought a 2 pack for us and the next people who stay. Fire pit was full of burnt trash and not cleaned. Didn’t have WiFi until last day we were there. It was okay for the 3 days but definitely could have been so much better and up kept more.

Great cabin, but

There were no “spices”. If I had known that I would have brought some. No extra toilet paper. 4 nights and we had to buy it and paper towels. No dish towels, dish washer is broke. I felt the ladder to the loft was not safe. This is a bit of a handrail, but it needs to be raised. The patio door needs to be fixed at the bottom, bugs and ants are coming in. Also, the tv is mounted strange. You can’t watch it from the living room. Also no WiFi. You also have to drive through the yard to get to the cabin. I loved the cabin, but some stuff was impossible to ignore.

To ensure our guests have an accurate understanding of what is provided, we recommend referring to the listed amenities.-Toilet paper is readily available in the bathroom cabinet, along with paper towels and extra towel paper for our guests' convenience.-The issue with the dishwasher stemmed from guest misuse; however, please rest assured that it will be promptly addressed through repair or replacement.-We regret any inconvenience caused by the patio door issue. Rest assured, we are committed to promptly addressing and repairing the situation to ensure our guests' complete satisfaction.-A TV will be mounted on the downstairs wall to enhance our guests' convenience and enjoyment.-WiFi is available on the premises, and the same code used for the door also provides access to the WiFi network. We will update our listing to include this information, ensuring guests can easily access it during their stay.-Driving through the yard is necessary to reach the cabin, which is situated in the middle of a field surrounded by grass.
