Friends Getaway Weekend

We came for an April weekend getaway with a group of 18. We were likely the first group since the end of the fall season. The location and home were terrific, and the reservation was smooth. The views are spectacular and the house is an easy drive to both Pentwater and Ludington. Our only concerns were these: Since we were the first after the winter, we were met with mouse droppings on two of the beds in the lower level, but no recent activity of mice. We were instructed to change the linens upon reporting the problem. We also had to clean out a very rotten bag of potatoes from the kitchen that was emanating quite a nasty odor. The rest of the home was well-appointed and very clean. I was just disappointed that there had not been a deep clean for any potential over-winter problems that may have cropped up (such as the ones we found). Next, the gravel driveway is very, very steep, so a small sedan may have trouble getting up to the house. I did not recall seeing that noted in the description. Neither of these issues prohibited us from enjoying a lovely stay with plenty of fun and fellowship in this gorgeous location!

Women’s Church Retreat

The property is gorgeous and greater than the photos. Only one small detail the tub in the upstairs bathroom was not able to stop water from draining to be able to take a bath. Other than that it was amazing, peaceful,welcoming and perfect for our group.

This is an amazing property, even better than the pictures. The host was incredibly responsive. I can't say enough about how enjoyable the whole process was. If you are thinking of renting this property....do it!
