Always a Great Stay!

Beautiful well equipped home on the waterfront of Lake Wateree. We’ve been coming here the last few years to recharge and enjoy the view and the lake and it never gets old!A wonderful place for our family to vacation.

Renter beware

Main parts of house clean. Outside patio and furniture is filthy and unusable. Windows are dirty, cobwebs all over inside and outside of the home. There are bugs inside the home including at least 10 cockroaches we saw and chased chased around the house. Had to leave in the middle of the night on our last day after having cockroaches in master bath and master bedroom at night. Owner was responsive and told us what he would do in the future, also gave us $200 back in cleaning fees. However the trip to the lake was ruined, and I won’t be back.

Family vacation

My family and i try to do a Lake Wateree vacation each year. We were hesitant this year because of the water levels being low but am very glad we chose this property. Because of the low water levels we had our own little private beach which the kids and adults all thoroughly enjoyed! We loved the close proximity to Riverdeck and Beavers Den which made for great meals for lunch when we werent cooking. The property itself is beautiful. The kitchen is stunning and super spacious. We cooked dinner every night and enjoyed the large table and stools for seating for our group. We also liked the fact that the tvs are smart tvs so the kids could use Youtube and Netflix when we werent swimming. The decorations throughout the house are very nice. We liked the set up in the rooms with the bunk beds because it was great for the kids. I was hesitant about the wall ac units in each room but there was no need to be as they cooled great. The shower in the master is amazing! It has a rain fall shower head and great pressure for a nice relaxing shower. We got to meet the next door neighbors and they are super nice and came over to chit chat. The only drawbacks i can give is that the back exterior of the house needs a good spray down to remove all the bugs/webs and to be treated for bugs (which is to be expected being in the woods/on the water).

Highly Recommend

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. The house is very nice and clean. Location is near stores and restaurants. Everything we needed was provided. Host was easy to contact and provided all the information we needed. Would gladly stay there again.
