We had a great time staying at this VRBO. The house was clean and completely as described. The area is beautiful and had lots to do. We would definitely stay again!
The home is very comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms modern. Great view of the river. It is an awesome old home and therefore has nooks and steps that parents of very young children should be aware of. However, as two adults we enjoyed it's character. The Headquarters General Storearound the corner is walkable and a great visit for breakfast or lunch. The towns of Milton and Frenchtown, across the river offer other conveniences and opportunities.
We stayed the weekend for our son's wedding reception nearby. Eric was a great host, and we had everything we needed during our stay. Everything was clean and comfortable. The river view from the front of the property was beautiful mixed with the fresh snow that fell the morning of the wedding. We would definitely recommend this property..
Absolutely beautiful home in a wonderful location with all the amenities. Amazing view from the front of the house overlooking the river. Every room beautifully furnished, very comfortable and spacious.
Easy check in, Owner welcomed us via text message. Entering the house seeing it was spotless! Well appointed everything you need. Beautiful surroundings, Delaware river view from living room, relaxing front yard sitting area watching the river. Great places to eat within minutes nearby. People in area very friendly. Great coffee and breakfast around the corner walking distance, Homestead Coffee Roasters. on the canal path take walk after breakfast. Also eat at The Narrows and The Gulch Tavern. Recommend both.
Two friendly and I spent a pleasant fall weekend here. The beds were all comfortable, the house was both clean and had everything we needed. Ate in one night and at a nearby restaurant the next. We enjoy coming to the area for the nearby towns full of interesting shops and cafes. Also enjoy walking and running along the canal tow path. Would enjoy returning to this property in warmer weather and taking advantage of it's river access.
Across the street from the DE river, with water access.
A short walk across the bridge to Milford, a small NJ river town with a few restaurants and shops. In the other direction a short walk to a great Breakfast/Lunch place along the bike trail.
Beautifully redone inside of property with all the amenities, everything worked perfectly.
Drive to nearby Frenchtown (NJ), New Hope (PA), Lambertville(NJ). Lots of interesting restaurants in all directions. 4 college roommates from the class of '83 enjoyed it very much!
My sister and I (65+) had a fairly nice stay.
No privacy in LR, kitchen etc. Windows facing road not covered. Front door facing road also full uncovered glass. Listing mentioned cameras for our safety. I’m used to these and I like the security. When I asked owner how do I view, he said only he and wife have access so they can check for large groups. Road has regular and rumbling commercial traffic. Occasional vehicles came into the drive for unknown reasons. One sat by house for awhile. No outdoor motion lights. Shrubs at end of drive obscure view to pull out onto road. Both showers squeaky clean and slippery as heck. No mat or wall handle.
Owner responded quickly to my few questions.
