Wonderful Stay @ Ellis Cottage

Philip was very helpful and provided us all the information we needed and the location of the property was well situated, the bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable with a huge kitchen and living area with a beautiful decking and garden

We had a wonderful stay at Ellis Cottage. A beautiful location only a walk to the city centre or waterfront. We found the best way to tackle the hills and feel a lot fitter for the experience.The cottage has everything you could possibly need for a stay and is very very comfortable. Communication with the host was excellent.

Everything that we needed was closed by for us.We couldn’t false the house and there was information on things to do and see around Hobart.Phillip even told me how much it would cost to catch a taxi to the city if helped everyone that was staying at the house.If I go back to Hobart I would more likely to stay there again because you are over looking the city.

It was an absolute pleasure to host Karen and her group. Karen made full use of the cottages quiet but close location to Hobart and all it has to offer. This includes, Salamanca Market, CBD shops and restaurants, ferry to Mona, etc. All within a short walking distance or taxi ride. Communication with Karen was always polite and helpful. On her departure the cottage was left orderly and clean. All house rules were followed verbatim. For these reasons I would highly recommend Karen and her group to other host. On a personal level, it is heartening to achieve over the past 8 plus years consistent 5 star ratings.

Perfect space for a family holiday with 18

This property was chosen in order to spend a week with family to celebrate a significant birthday. There was plenty of space to relax and a great decked area at the rear that had views of the city and Mt Wellington. Kitchen was well provisioned allowing the private caterer that we arranged to prepare a serve a 4 course lunch without difficulty. Within easy walking distance of Salamanca Place but be aware it is a steep walk back.
