A five minute drive will bring you to the National Seashore, all of the Eastham Bay beaches, and the Wellfleet Drive-in Theater. Close also to Orleans and Wellfleet. The home is located on a private dirt road; plenty of privacy and space, with back road access to bay beaches. The enclosed outdoor shower (with a bonus shower head!) large screened in sun porch and sunny yard provide a great retreat after a day at the beach. There are new minisplits in each bedroom, and one in the main area.
Main Level: Enter into the great room, which contains a nice size living room, dining and kitchen area with a cathedral ceiling, oak floors and decorative fireplace. A ceiling fan is in this room. TV.
To the right a doorway leads to a family room with pegged, wide plank, oak floors and another decorative fireplace and ceiling fan. There is a wooden chest filled with games and puzzles. The shelves are filled with many books for a relaxing read. TV. Record player with records!
The sun room entrance is through the den. Surrounded by large windows, a cathedral ceiling - this is the perfect place to have morning coffee or a view of the starry sky at night. (Check out the wicker basket the owner has thoughtfully provided under the table, hint, there are many places to enjoy a picnic is this idyllic area!) A door off this room leads to a wood walkway and large patio with tables and chairs and to the enclosed outdoor shower.
To the left of the great room is a hallway leading to Bedrooms 1 and 2 and both bathrooms. A full bathroom with a tub/shower is available to occupants and guests with another full bathroom (with shower/no tub) en suite with Bedroom 1. Both bedrooms have Berber style carpet and the baths have linoleum floors. Bedroom 1: A cot is also available in the main bedroom closet. TV.
The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, glassware, pots, pans and appliances, including a waffle iron, a Kitchen Aid mixer, ice cube maker, and even an ice cream machine!
Upper Level: Stairs from the front of the living room lead up to Bedroom 3 with Berber carpeting. There are 2 twin beds and space for relaxing and playing.
Lower Level: The new washing machine and dryer are on this level. Non-refundable $250.00 fee (includes administrative fee and damage waiver assurance) plus applicable state and local taxes. Linen package is available at additional cost upon request.
Note: TVs are smart TVS with Xfinity Xbox over 200 HBO/Netflix channels with voice command remotes.
