Welcome to Hens & Honey Farmhouse. This quaint 200 year old home is centrally located in Richmond County, Cape Breton. Not far from shops, activities and great scenic views.
Family friendly, this 3 bedroom, 2 bath home can comfortably sleep 6 people. With a fully equipped kitchen and laundry it can be your home away from home.
It also offers a great outdoor space and yard, equipped with a hot tub, small outdoor eating area, and fire pit
Sorry, NO pets allowed.
Our farm is located across the road and you can always send us a message if you would like to come visit the goats and chickens at any time.

Please shower before entering the hot tub. No smoking or eating inside the hot tub. We do come check the hot tub chemicals every morning.
We are on a well for water, so please be mindful of water consumption. It is not unlimited. Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper.

Hens and Honey was the perfect place for the sisters to stay while attending their brothers 80th bday celebration in St Peters, NS The home was immaculate and well supplied and furnished. Very comfortable beds and very comfortable. We will return again.

Beautiful spot just off the main road and 5 minutes to town. Farm fresh eggs for breakfast with toast and honey. We were a group of 4 here to ride the Cabot Trail. Second stay here and will be back again. Great hosts!! Thanks again! Terry

We own and operate Hens & Honey Farm and Farmhouse on beautiful Cape Breton Island. We have a few different farm animals you never know what you might see depending on the season. We have free ranging chickens and Nigerian dwarf goats all year long as well as our most popular honey bees. We acquired the 200 year old homestead across the road from our farm and decided to share it with you all.
When you stay with us at the Farmhouse you are welcome to experience some of the things our farm has to offer. You'll receive complementary farm fresh eggs, our handcrafted all natural soap and even some of our amazing raw honey to enjoy. (The eggs and honey depend on the season).
