This was a great place for our grown family to stay while visiting my parents for Thanksgiving! Kitchen is great, I was able to prepare a good part of thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen. Also appreciated the lovely park and walking trails so close by and Mountain views as you step out front door were stunning!
Spacious and comfortable for two adults and four kids. It was a convenient location for our vacation to raft Echo Canyon, Pikes Peak summit, and hike Garden of the Gods!
Very clean and comfortable bed. We will stay here again.

Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
House looked nothing like the pictures. Fencing for the yard was broken everywhere and we were traveling with a dog so that did not work well. Back porch was in terrible condition with spots you couldn’t even step on. Railing at the other back door was broken. House was not very clean. There were ear wigs crawling around. Trundle bed in one room was broken. House smelled like animal urine. Overall it would have been an ok property if the price was much lower but for what we paid we have stayed in homes a million times nicer and better kept. Just way too expensive for what it is and how well it’s kept.
I have a son who lives in Colorado Springs and when we visit we always get a VRBO. We havent been happy in the past with the homes we have stayed at until now. This home is great, very clean, room for pets, beds were comfortable, and it was in a great neighborhood. We will be staying at this property from here on out.
This house was perfect for our party of 6 (4 adults, 2 kids). It had everything we needed. The park with the playground down the street was an added bonus for our 2 young kids. We visited the Zoo, North Pole & Manitou Springs. All were an easy drive from this house.

Hi Laurie, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we apologize if you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
- We wish you had reached out to us during your stay. We would've been more than happy to resolve your concerns and make your stay more comfortable.
- While we regret our home was not up to your expectations, we’re happy to share that our most recent guests reported no issues.
- We truly go above and beyond for our guests and are confident that future guests will have a wonderful stay!
This worked great for our family during an extended hospital stay for a relative. My only suggestion is that the doorway thresholds were a bit of a tripping hazard. Great comfortable house.
Great place for pets, you can not tell that they had pets in there before with the great cleaniness and no pet smells. They have plenty of pet items, dog bed, poop bucket, fenced in area for dogs. Lots of space to relax and enjoy free netflix. Great office space for one.
I needed a place to stay while bringing my dog to Colorado Springs for a surgery. Check in was easy, the house was clean. Someone needs to empty the dog poo bucket outside, though. The house was Cold, I never found the visitors book that often lists things like how to adjust the thermostat? I did NOT reach out to the management company for instructions to adjust the temperature, so My Bad. Extremely minimalist furniture and decorations.

The house is close to USOTC & most of the colleges in COS. It’s on a fairly busy road but not terribly hard to back out of the narrow driveway. Plenty of parking. House is brick so insulated from the road noise. House was fairly clean & beds are memory foam. Bathrooms were exceptionally clean. Plenty of hot water for showers & nice fluffy towels. Lots of extra towels & blankets. Coffee & bottled water was provided as well as an ice maker. Owner has provided most kitchen things you would need. Overall we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
Overall, the house is very nice. Pros:* very comfortable beds* quiet street* includes all the comforts of home * centrally located * Large and spacious home Cons * Trundle bed is broken so there’s one less bed available than stated in the listing * Only 2 window ac units and only 1 of those is in a bedroom. All bedrooms need ac * Lots of black dog fur on linens * Living room smells like dogs. The bedrooms didn’t smell but I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you’re at all bothered by pet smells or fur. (We are dog owners but this still bothered us. We didn’t spend any time in the living room because of it).
The unit is well equipped. AC only in master and family room, needs units in other bedrooms. It was well equipped but sadly had some issues with previous renters dog(s) not being cleaned up after, as we found dog poop on black rug and both family room and room with twins smelled of urine. Seemed like cleaning crew tried to cover with eucalyptus cleaner I was allergic to. Three different window screens had been jimmied, so they may need more external security cameras. Views of the mountains only visible from drive. Back patio was very dirty. I’m sure with some care and investment in better cleaning, ac units for bedrooms, and exterior cameras and cleaning the unit would once again receive high ratings.
