The property is fully furnished, airconditioned and equipped to ensure you have everything you need for your stay. The property provides a high chair and travel cot for families traveling with young children, as well as a selection of toys and DVDs.

The kitchen is fully equipped and ready for your entertainment, home-cooked dinners, cheese platers, BBQ's and of course the all-important morning cup of coffee or tea! In the bathrooms, you will find a carefully selected range of hand soaps and body wash for your convenience. For long-term stays, the property offers a fully stocked and functional laundry.

Within 5 minutes of the property, you can find yourself at pristine beaches, playing a round of golf on the prestigious Cut Golf Course, enjoying channel views and dolphin watching from The Cut Tavern, or dining out at the numerous cafe and restaurant options the area has to offer. For weekend guests, you can take a stroll through the Peel Produce Markets that are held in the reserve in front of the property every Saturday morning. To stock up for your stay the local IGA and Coles complex are only 5 minutes away.

Mandurah town is a 15-minute drive and has plenty to offer holidaymakers, from dolphin and pirate cruises, mini train rides along the foreshore, skate park, cinema, playgrounds and of course more beaches. In the winter months, you could find yourself at the Winter Wonderland on the Mandurah Foreshore ice skating and tobogganing. Mandurah has no shortage of cafes, bars/pubs, day spas and boutique shops, you are sure to find something to please everyone during your stay.

Mandurah is also famous for the blue swimmer crab, if you find yourself staying at the property during crabbing season we have supplied everything you need to catch a feast of crabs from the estuary in front of the home.

For those wanting to explore, heading south takes you towards the Thrombolites, Thorney Devil Brewery, The lazy crab Tavern (for a local experience) and Old Coast Brewery. Taking you even further south you can visit the Crooked Carrot which is great for families and you can include a stop off for a swim at Preston beach or take a day trip to some of the beautiful towns the South West has to offer.

Heading east you can day trip to Pinjarra for a train ride the kids will love, head out to Dwellingup and enjoy the cidery, Carraholly Orchid or pack a picnic and visit the national park for a swim in the waterholes. A touch closer to home you can visit Midway Farm to pet the animals and try their delicious baked goods.

Notes for staying with young children - The property does accommodate children but it is worth noting that the property is not fenced and the home is split level featuring two carpeted five stair stairwells that are not gated. Outlet plugs have been placed on any unused power outlets and a fire place gate has been installed, additionally the balcony is fully enclosed but supervision of young children is encouraged.

Estuary road

Good location and access to estuary Good viewWell air conditioned Appliances all working and cleanComfortable bedsNote: some towels were dirty and we had to wash all towels. All towels are shedding material into showersNo mop provided and broom isn’t effective at sweeping (consider improving provision of cleaning equipment). No oven gloves found. Two cracked wine glasses found and left on counter for you to see. Note the patio furniture had not been cleaned with old food stains and bird poo. Cushions had just been turned over. This could contribute to your ant problem. At night we heard small animals in the ceiling. We suspect a bandicoot? Only heard at night so presumably nocturnal. Just to inform the owners in case they wish to investigate.

Hi Megan, Thank you for your thoughtful and detailed feedback. We're so glad to hear you enjoyed the location, estuary views, and the comfort of our beds, as well as the cleanliness and functionality of the appliances. It’s always our goal to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable stay, and your comments help us to continually improve. We’d like to address the points you raised to highlight the steps we've taken and our commitment to maintaining high standards: Ant Extermination: We’ve had a professional exterminator treat the property to address the ant issue you mentioned. We understand how important a pest-free environment is for your comfort. Cleaning Equipment: The mop is located in the laundry cupboard for future reference, and we’ve noted your feedback about the broom. While the current one is brand new, we’re more than happy to replace it with a different type if it’s not proving effective. Oven Mitts: Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We’ve purchased new oven mitts for guest use to ensure a safe and enjoyable cooking experience. Towels: We regret that the towels did not meet your expectations. All towels have since been replaced with high-quality, low-shedding alternatives to avoid this issue in the future. Patio Furniture and Cushions: The patio area has been thoroughly cleaned, including the furniture and cushions, to remove any old stains and bird droppings. Additionally, we’ve given all cushions a deep clean to ensure they’re fresh and inviting. Wine Glasses: We appreciate you leaving the cracked glasses for us to see. They’ve been replaced with new ones. Nocturnal Visitor: The sounds you heard are likely from one of our native tree-dwelling animals, which is a unique feature of staying in this beautiful natural setting. These animals are harmless and a testament to the rich wildlife that makes our property special. If guests ever have concerns about noise, we encourage them to let us know, and we’re happy to discuss further. We’re deeply committed to providing exceptional stays, and your feedback allows us to fine-tune every detail. We hope you’ll consider staying with us again and experience these improvements firsthand. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any further suggestions or needs—we’re here to make your stay unforgettable. Warm regards, Samantha Special Stays Short Term Rental
