Lovely location, quiet and relaxing. Generally well set up, but a little disappointed that some of the internal lights and switches were not working. The frying pans were also not in good condition, so making the pancakes that I’d planned for breakfast was a challenge! Having said all that, I enjoyed the stay and would consider returning for another break from the city
Beautiful sanctuary. I loved how it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere surrounded by beautiful scenery and the rainforest, yet we were so close to the towns of Kiama and berry. Perfect size for our family of 4 and our pups absolutely loved exploring the outdoors. Well maintained and clean, had everything we needed. Great time away, our girls loved all the animals -horses, highland cows and the chickens. Would definitely recommend.
What a retreat it is! Beautifully presented, cosy, and the perfect spot for a winter short break from the city. Firepit, chickens, rainforest walks and plenty of exploring- we loved it. Definitely returning.
Amazing, secluded retreat-style accomodation. I was given full privacy but the peace of mind that the host was just a call away. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get away from it all!
The house is a simple cottage but offers the perfect escape from the city and reconnect with nature. Each morning we ate our breakfast and drank coffee out on the verandah listening to the birds and looking out at the beautiful views and it so tranquil. This is definitely the highlight of the house.
The house was beautiful, tranquil, spacious, scenic and fun. We enjoyed the many walks, gardens, firepit and relaxing on the verandah and appreciated the all around serenity. We took our 3 dogs who absolutely loved the trails and freedom they had. The house was equipped with all that you need for a comfortable stay and was clean and tastefully decorated and had lots of charm. I highly recommend this place and appreciated the pet friendliness and will definitely return again.
Feels like you have escaped from it all, but only about 10 minutes drive to the coast at Gerringong or the historic town of Berry. We made few visits to both, but spent most of the time sitting on the verandah soaking in the views. Highlights were feeding the horses and taking the walking trail within the property up to a high paddock to visit the beautiful Highland Cows (at least that's what we think they were). Our youngest enjoyed the daily task of collecting the eggs from the chickens too.The caretakers cottage on the property is far enough away to give privacy, but still close enough for peace of mind that there is someone there to help if you need it.We all had a great time here and hope to return.
