Sheltering Pines is custom built house in Depoe Bay that has it all: an oceanfront location, a hot tub, and private beach access!

Breathtaking ocean views greet up to 10 guests at Sheltering Pines - a four bedroom, three and a half bath, cedar-shingled home overlooking seven miles of beautiful beach.

The upscale interior of this contemporary two-story retreat features an open floor plan with large scale windows and nine-foot ceilings. There's plenty of elbow room in this great house for groups that enjoy being alone as well as together during vacation. Downstairs, the stylish great room floor plan combines living, kitchen, and dining areas so everyone can join in the fun. The living room provides comfortable and ample seating on three couches, two club chairs, and various table chairs. An expansive dining table for ten is perfect for playing games, crafting, admiring ocean views, or large group meals. Many guests have commented on the joyful hours spent around this custom table. An HD flat screen TV in the great room. There is also a half bath powder room that serves the great room. Games are stored in the entry hall credenza.
In the fully appointed kitchen, the chef is never separate from the rest of the crowd and can enjoy amazing ocean views while cooking! Appliances include a refrigerator, a microwave, a dishwasher, and a gas cooktop stove and oven. There are several special extra touches available in this kitchen: baking pans, a rolling pin, a waffle iron, a hot air popcorn maker, a crock pot, coffee makers, a blender, a toaster, a Brita water filter, pots and pans, and utensils for at least twelve people.

The main floor laundry room has a full capacity washer and dryer, an ironing board, an iron, and a full-size rinse sink for hand washables.

There are three very large primary bedrooms, each with their own individually controlled heating source. One bedroom is on the main level and two can be found upstairs, all with king beds. The downstairs has an attached bath featuring a large shower. The upstairs west facing room has a view of the ocean through the pine trees. The bathroom just outside the door has a full-sized shower and would be shared with the bunk-bed room. The upstairs east facing bedroom is quieter, and the attached bathroom has a six-foot tub with a hand sprayer. All bathrooms include a hair dryer and a close-up mirror. A cozy little bunk-bed room upstairs includes a trundle. Both upstairs bedrooms have TVs, closets, and dressers. Additional sleeping is available on the sofa sleeper and rollaway bed.

The oceanfront deck, extra-large and nestled under the pines, can accommodate ten for outdoor dining. Up to six people can watch the ocean waves while relaxing in the hot tub. Just below the deck, a cedar log Philosopher's Bench faces the ocean for quiet contemplation. The sheltered south facing deck is next to a built-in river rock barbeque grill and is good for sunbathing.
