Great location. Walking distance to lake and town. Lots of space for families and good facilities. Cosy beds, easy to warm rooms. Spacious kitchen. Plenty of parking.
Completely fit for purpose. We needed something to sleep many, that wasn't going to be too precious, and this home was that. The owner was very accommodating and sorted small things on the spot. Carpet had seen better days, but it's understandable with lots of differing groups staying. Would recommend. Thanks for having us.
We booked this place over 3 months ago and had recent communication with Michael prior to booking date. When we arrived there were people in the house. Michael had double booked us. The people in the house spoke with Michael when we arrived to try and help us out and Michael told us he doesn’t use bookabatch. However we checked his email account and the account was exactly the same as the others so he lied to us. He eventually changed his mind and agreed that he had us double booked. Michael also had booked out the bottom half of the house for the Saturday which the people in the house currently believed they were getting. So it looks like he triple booked the place. He left 16 of us out in the rain with no where to stay. His communication was poor and would not pick up my calls, only replying to text. Told us to sort it with Bookabatch. I would not trust this guy at all!!
