Welcome to Precious Time on Chincoteague Island - or as we like to call it, “Our Little Island by the Sea”. Precious Time sits in the very heart of our Island, close to everywhere you want to be, but it feels a million miles away from the real world. It’s such a great location - you can take a short stroll down Cropper Street to watch the sunset over the Chincoteague Bay, or wander to Historic Downtown Main Street’s Shops, Restaurants, and the Waterfront Park, home of many free events during the Summer season. Assateague National Seashore, where our famous Wild Ponies roam free, is less than 10 minutes away. All of this, plus a beautifully Renovated home, and all at a family-friendly price tag!

As you pull into the driveway, you’ll be welcomed by this sunny yellow home’s welcoming Covered Porch, where a couple of beachy Rockers beckon you to sit a spell and just watch the world go by.

You’ll love kicking back in the Living Area with comfy furnishings to sink into, muted tones pulled straight from nature, Free WiFi, and Flat Screen Smart TV. Even though Precious Time is a Historic Home, it feels Brand New inside! We love the tasteful and beautifully simple decor this home offers, with warm furnishings throughout and gorgeous Hardwood Floors.

As you walk towards the Kitchen and Dining Area, you feel Precious Time just open up - a wonderfully open space perfect for spending time together without ever feeling crowded. The Chef in your family will love the huge Kitchen with all the comforts of home. There’s tons of gleaming Granite Countertop space for meal preparation, and every gadget you could need. Whip up some Fresh Local Seafood on the Gas Grill, and dine in the comfort of Central AC at the Dining Table. Not one to cook on Vacation? You’re a short stroll from many awesome dining options! Just off the Kitchen, the Mud Room leads to the yard and the Brand New Deck (coming by mid-June 2024). There’s also a convenient Half Bath on the 1st Floor.

Precious Time sleeps 6 in 3 Bedrooms and with 2 Full and 1 Half Baths, and we could not love the unique layout more. As you wander up the wonderfully wide staircase, which is rare in a Chincoteague home, you’ll find the first 2 Bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a Queen Bed and serene decor, and is a restful retreat. All Bedrooms have Flat Screen Smart TV, as well. Down the hall, Bedroom 2 has 2 Twin Beds - perfect for the kids or singles in your group. There’s a shared Full Bath convenient to both Bedrooms which has both a Walk-in Shower and a Soaking Tub. Go up one more level to find Bedroom 3, which also has a Queen Bed, and is its own very private retreat with a Private Full Bath with Walk-in Shower and cozy Window Seat perfect for curling up with a good book. If you’re looking for some peace and quiet, this is the room for you!
