Our stay was amazing, in walking distance of the beach. We had a few bon fires on the beach and watched the sunset. It was beautiful! We had six adults and were very comfortable in the house.

Loved how close it was to the beach and the house was super well set up and had great decorations. There is one sconce in the down stairs bathroom that we did notice is cracked so we wanted to let you know.

Great house for a beach getaway!

We had a wonderful stay during a winter snowstorm. The house was exactly as advertised and fully stocked with a ton of amenities. The hot tub was super clean and worked great! You stay dry with sealed deck/patio above it. We will be back!!

The house is beautiful- a great space with big kitchen, comfortable beds, and great location. It was clean and a very short walk to the beach. There was also a nice walk in the neighborhood which follows a river. They had great touches like pool towels for the hot tub and black towels/sheets for dog use. Our pups loved the house and the beach! The host did have a slow response time when we had a question- 5 hours. Unfortunately they did not have lawn or beach chairs and cannot accommodate storing luggage if you get there early or want to stay in the area on check out date. Checkout instructions were located on a separate website and not located on Vrbo app. They may be useful to update. Overall- a great stay!

This property is clean, warm, well-appointed throughout. We would have liked to use the hot tub, but it would never get above 85 degrees and no instructions were provided for its operation.

Allergic to feathers

The house was clean. However, despite the request to confirm no feather bedding, there was only feather bedding on all of the beds. Being highly allergic, this was a very bad situation. I had to leave my family and stay in a hotel for one night and then leave an additional day early. I think alternate bedding should be on hand. There was also a batch of laundry soaking wet in the dryer which could not run because it was packed in too heavy and tight. The main living, deck and kitchen areas were nice. Except the dishwasher looks like it needs to be refitted into the counter. The house next door is being completely remodeled so that was loud. Especially the power sawing. This made what should have been a celebratory weekend into a very stressful one.

No power and no communication

I usually try to stay pretty neutral when it comes to staying at places, but this was probably one of the worst experiences with a place I've had in a really long time. I would not recommend staying here unless you like poor communication, lack of cleaning (spider webs everywhere, bandaid in the hot tub, dirty dishes put away in the cabinet) power outages, having to throw out all your food from the fridge and having to pack up two and half days early because no one is giving any helpful information nor do they care if they provide customer service since they already have your money. Such a waste and a shame. I won't rent from any of the Meredith lodging owned properties just due to lack of empathy and poor communication they provided when I actually needed help.
