About this property
Relax and Rejuvenate in this Peaceful, Wooded Oasis.
Two spacious bedrooms with a shared bath, large living space, fully furnished kitchen and decks with hammock, bbq grill and hotub. Extra sofa bed, cot and couch space for up 8 guests(4 adult,4children).
Located on the Beaver Lake watershed and privately nestled in a bluff lined hollow with a spring flowing from a cave all year and others coming from the hills above when it rains, this location is an oasis for rejuvenating away from every day demands. Nature abounds with the sounds of chirping birds, beeping frogs and flowing water to compliment the serene landscape.
Come enjoy the relaxed, private atmosphere and comfort of this lovely home. Enjoy the stars at night from the deck, sip coffee under a covered deck in the rain or enjoy a fire out by the firepit and watch the stars. Cozy up on the big red sofa for a movie or gathering of friends.
A quiet and comfortable get-away where you can rejuvenate and escape from electronics, news media, distractions and traffic, you’ll feel far, far away from it all. (Wifi and At&t cell available). Roku use included but no cable/network programming.
Thank you for visiting. I hope you love it. Resident owner lockout is on back of house. This is a private home and owner lives here but does not enter your rental space. You are renting most of the house. You are given your complete privacy. The cat Harmony and dog Vincent live here also and always enjoy visitors.
Please note* This property is down a gravel road, some parts steep with loose rocks and you must cross a creek which may be wet and possibly muddy so its not good for motorcycles, pulling trailers and not suited for low profile or 4cl cars or rear wheel drive but front wheel drive does well on the steep gravel hill.
This property is not lake front nor lake view. The lake is very close but you would not want to tow a boat here on this road without a large, heavy duty truck. There is room to park it here however. Starkey Marina and Beaver Dam are just 3 miles away where there is a public launch and parking.

Secluded, peaceful spot. Nice hostess. We did not spend much time at the house but it would be nice place to relax with a partner away from the hustle and bustle.
We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this cozy and peaceful home. It more than met our expectations and we can’t wait to return! You will leave rested and refreshed, surrounded by nature, it’s an absolute gem of a property.

I enjoyed hosting you Angel and family. It was a busy weekend for Eureka but the quiet here in the woods was perfect. I always love to see my guests enjoying the serenity here. I look forward to seeing you again soon.
Diane was incredibly welcoming, helped us understand the area and was a phenomenal host. The house was very clean and the property is beautiful to walk and stay in. The last morning we were there 4 bucks walked out from the woods not 30 feet from the porch. It's beautiful.

Abby I'm so glad you enjoyed it here and got to see the bucks in the yard. They come every summer. Usually 5 of them. Try ro return when the rains make waterfalls next time(May or Dec)!
We had a lovely stay. It was clean and well kept, and there were supplies of condiments, staples, and toiletries there that made me feel right at home! The owner is really nice as well and so are her cat and dog. The hot tub was great too!
This is definitely a property for getting away from it all. Private, secluded and very quiet. The home is well maintained and the friendly onsite dog and cat added to the overall fun experience.
If you want a secluded property to get away from it all, this is the place. No traffic, just a very peaceful and beautiful spot to enjoy nature in a peaceful surrounding. Enjoyed sipping coffee on the front steps in the morning listening to the birds. Fully stocked kitchen was amazing so no need to stock up on groceries, host thought of everything and more.

I'm happy to share the relaxing nature of my beautiful hollow. More landscaping is coming soon so it willl be even better when you return.
If you want to get away from people, this is your place. Diane is wonderful. Her place is beautifully tucked in the deep woods. She has the sweetest animals and was a great host. The house is clean and has so much character. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Thanks Allison. Appreciate the recommendations and glad you enjoyed being here. I just restocked the fire pit wood so there's lots of wood to burn.
Diann is an exceptional hostess and the property was just amazing. It was cozy warm. The animals were friendly. I couldn’t ask for a more perfect getaway to disconnect from real world. I really envy her being able to live out there she was the sweetest woman ever.
This is a great place to stay if you are looking to get out of town and into nature. It's a few miles from Beaver Lake and a few miles from Eureka Springs. The homeowner, Diane, is great and will call/text to make sure everything is going great. We will stay here again next year! Her awesome dog, Vincent, will hang out with you and he loves massages! Her home is very clean and has plenty of room for a party of 6 - 8 people. Again, we were extremely happy with the house and Diane!

Thank you Craig. Your group are the perfect family visitors for my place and thanks for cleaning up so nicely. Everything was in good order. I'm happy everyone enjoyed being here. Vincent appreciates the massages.
Let me start by saying the property is absolutely beautiful. Diane is a wonderful host, even going above and beyond by stocking all the fixings for a nice breakfast. The house is clean and comfortable, and the views are breathtaking. Vincent the dog was a wonderful host as well, escorting us on all our walks. Please make sure you read the section of the listing about the road carefully. It is a pretty rough mountain road that is narrow and curvy. You definitely want to be in the right car. Can be a little nerve racking if you aren't used to it. Once we got the hang of it though, it was fine. Overall I would highly recommend this place for a truly remote, relaxing getaway!
Our stay here was perfect and just what we needed! Diane was a fantastic hostess and made sure everything was in perfect order for our visit... We got in late in the evening and she made sure there were breakfast foods in the fridge for us! We absolutely loved our stay and plan to stay again soon!
This property is beautiful and so peaceful. Diane gave excellent directions to the property as it is off the beaten path and was very helpful when we had questions about things to do in Eureka Springs. We would absolutely go back for a longer stay and will recommend her property to anyone we know heading her way.

It was very nice to meet and host Shannon and her family. They had a nice time and were excited to be able to return again sometime.
The stay was overall great. House was just as it looked in the pictures and Diane was great to work with throughout the process. It was clean and had all the supplies you need. Perfect for our group of 6. It is a bit off the road but that’s what we were looking for and the nature sounds and fire pit at not was great. Thanks Diane.

Thanks Brett. I'm glad you enjoyed it so much. Please recommend it and return when you can. Your family were the perfect guests and will always be welcome back.
This is a great home, especially for kids. The fish, kitty, and puppy were so much fun for our 2.5 year old daughter. Plus lots of exploring to do on property. It’s close enough to eureka springs to get to anything you would need in 15-20 min. But secluded enough that you get peace and solitude. Diane was helpful and overall it was a great stay!
Nestled back in nature, this place was perfect for unwinding and recharging. Diane was the perfect hostess and was very knowledgeable about Eureka Springs. We were welcomed by her sweet, sweet dog, Vincent and her cat Harmony. Both very well manored and very friendly. Her home and property was beautiful and had everything you could need for a “home away from home” feel. If you’re looking for a place to get away from the hustle and bustle, I would 10/10 recommend staying here.
Secluded and private destination for those wanting to get away from it all.
Diane was there to greet us when we arrived and remained available and in constant communication throughout the whole time we were there. She even offered to take us on a tour of the area. The location is beautiful and our boys enjoyed exploring the property, as well as playing with the animals. Property was central to most places we visited. We loved it! Thank you, Diane.
The pictures didn’t do it justice! So much space inside, but the covered deck is where we stayed when we weren’t out walking and exploring. The mimosa tree was covered with hundreds of butterflies on my birthday morning! Vincent is the sweetest dog and not a jumper, which I appreciated a lot. Harmony, the cat, is his best bud. You can have as little or as much contact with them as you want. It was nice to have Vincent on our hikes. I would recommend taking stock of what’s available in the kitchen and then going to get groceries (20 min away at Hart’s) and cooking in the amazingly large kitchen. It was absolutely perfect for us. I will definitely come back!

About the host
Hosted by Diane
Designer, builder and owner, I began this project 25 years ago when I moved here with my husband from the Caribbean. Children are grown, life changes, and here I am with a big empty house to share. The rentals are a means to afford renovations and to afford me the ability to enjoy traveling more often and still have a home to come back to. I love this place, I've put a lot into it and making it special. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do and feel at home here. The serenity is lovely.
Why they chose this property
You will be renting in my home the two downstairs bedrooms, shared bath and living area with kitchen and decks. I may be here or not(in lock-out space) but either way, you are a guest in my home. You are welcome here. I hope you enjoy the serenity of this property and the relaxing and comfortable furnishings and feel of the place.
What makes this property unique
You have the opportunity to get out in nature, away from news and tv programming (only internet). There is only peace here, relaxing and abundant peace and tranquility in the nature of the Northwest Arkansas Ozarks. The location is only 25 minutes from Eureka Springs and 50 mins from Bentonville. The Beaver Dam is 3 miles and lake access within the same distance in many areas. Waterfalls are only when it rains a lot.
