If you looking for someplace off the beaten path, this place is it. It's perfect for a camping getaway, but with basic necessities. We were unable to do anything outdoors at the cabin because a huge storm came through to soak the area, but we didn't lose power! Besides the weather, the only other downside was that the shower was a little small. Overall it was a good stay.

The property manager was fantastic. He went above and beyond when we spoke with him. The only ‘slight issue’ was the lack of internet. No internet is listed, but there is no cell service either. No way to use a ‘hotspot’ either. Overall, nice place for the money.

This was a clean, small, no frills cabin that allowed our dog. It is far off the beaten path which is very peaceful but very secluded. It could use more kitchen supplies. Beware of wasps; we had to spray a nest.

From the owner: “We’re glad you enjoyed the clean, peaceful setting of the cabin and that it worked well for traveling with your dog. We’re sorry about the wasp nest. They can appear quickly, but we’ll keep a close eye to prevent issues for future guests. We also appreciate the feedback about kitchen supplies and will review what might be helpful to add. Thanks again for your stay.”

Secluded oasis

This was an absolute gem! My family traveled from Michigan to the area for the first time and we had a fantastic time! This cabin is off the beaten path for sure and a nice drive away from any bigger city. Beautiful picture perfect hills surround this hidden set of cabins tucked away on a private road nestled in a clearing in the woods. It has all the essentials for a perfect get away unplugged and rejuvenating in the best way. The beds were comfortable and the quiet was refreshing. The size was perfect for our family of 3 and we would definitely stay again. Wish we would have stayed longer!!

Great Cabin in a Terrific Location

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The cell service was very spotty, but that was perfect for what we were looking for. We grilled out a lot for breakfast and dinner and then went to some area attractions during the day. The beds were comfortable and the linens were all in good shape. The grill was in great condition and we had all the tools needed to cook what we wanted. The shower was small but stayed nice and hot!One thing to note, the bed frame does not allow for the bedroom door to close, leaving it ajar probably 18"-24". This made it a little more challenging to get the kids to bed before the parents, since light from the kitchen/main room would stream in. I could also see this being a privacy issue for some. Our family managed it well, but something to be aware of.
