Fall out of bed onto the sand, absolutely fully equipped for a short or long stay (which had stayed more than two nights). BBQ, bikes, board games, boogie boards all got a workout. Fully fenced yard for little Oscar the poodle. Just one thing-bring food and supplies-the friendly dairy is great for burgers and fish n chips-can get some beer and wine as well but if you want a bit more, better to bring

Our third visit to this amazing beach house and yet again it didn’t disappoint. The hosts are lovely and have thought of everything to make this a relaxing and well-equipped stay. The location gives you the choice of at least 3 beaches to walk to, or just sit back and watch the campsite and harbour comings and goings. Recommend the linen package if you are flying, super comfortable. Already making plans for our next visit.

Fantastic experience starting with the communication from Steve as soon as our booking was accepted.
Property is located in a sublime setting with gorgeous coastline views, accessible private beach. Dog friendly. Clean with plenty of space inside though we were outside due to the fabulous location.
Handy local shop with fish and chips and other essentials. Local walks. Can't wish for more
We will be back 100% next time with fishing rods!

This place is quiet, clean, and really well set out, comfortable. magnificent views, the best comfortable beds, and pillows, tank water is a plus . The host is available, and check in and out was a breeze. Many thanks Steve, hope we can return 1 day.

We had a few nights revisiting Matapouri Bay and our stay at the property was clean, comfortable and in a great location. Communication with John was quick and he was very accommodating to my enquires. We loved lounging out in the sun on the front deck and the kiddies loved the trampoline.
