A stunning detached cottage situated within the village of Gorran Haven, it houses three bedrooms and can sleep up to six people.
Garden House is a luxury detached cottage, found within the quaint village of Gorran Haven. Inside you will find three bedrooms, comprising of a king-size double with en-suite, a double and a twin bedroom. There is also a family bathroom, complete with a bath, separate walk-in shower, basin and WC. Additional rooms include a spacious open-plan living room with a kitchen area, dining area and a sitting area. Outside, guests can make use of off-road parking and a rear closed garden with a graveled area and a patio area with furniture. Garden House is a delightful property, complete with luxury interiors.
Amenities: Underfloor heating downstairs (air source heat pump). Electric double oven, electric hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine/tumble dryer, iron and ironing board, 50" Smart TV, Blu-ray DVD player, iPod dock, record turntable, PlayStation and WIFI. Highchair and travel cot available. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels (not beach) included. Off road parking for 2 cars. Fully enclosed graveled garden. Lovely area and house but poorly equipped
In the lead up to our stay I found it very difficult to get in contact with anyone to request cot and highchair. I had to speak to someone through another website on a live chat but never got confirmation anything would be available. House was lovely and easy to find upon arrival. Lovely open plan layout although the underfloor heating only worked on half the property. There were not sheets provided for the cot so I had to take them off a bed that thankfully we were using. Family bathroom isn’t very family friendly with no shower hose and very small cubical shower. No toilet rolls were provided so we had a trip to the shops very early on. Due to covid all games and dvds including PlayStation was removed but we weren’t made aware of this before travelling so didn’t bring anything of our own. Telly signal didn’t work so we had to stream everything via the internet. Thankfully the WiFi was very good! Upon checkout, instructions were to leave house clean and tidy. Nothing was provided for us to ensure that it could be left clean so we had to work with what we had. Overall, we loved the house itself but it needs to be better equipped or people need to be made aware before their stay of thing they need to bring of their own.
