Downstairs there are three bedrooms, two with sea views and patio doors to a terrace and garden. A family bathroom, shower room and utility room are also on this floor. The garden is tiered over several levels and has garden furniture available so you can relax and enjoy the views. There is on-road parking at the front of the property, and limited off-road parking is available in the driveway for a very small car.
Suncliff is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac within walking distance to the centre of Ventnor town. In addition to the main shopping streets where you will find a selection of small supermarkets and independent shops, there is the esplanade with pubs and cafes and the wonderful beach. There are parks and gardens, museums and the Winter Gardens - an entertainment venue with a growing reputation for theatre, concerts, comedy and dance shows and of course, with a restaurant and bar. The renowned Ventnor Haven Fishery at the Marina sells the daily catch of fresh fish and seafood; boat trips are also available from here.
There are a number of good restaurants in Ventnor including The Spyglass, right on the beach, several in the town including a vegan restaurant, and the amazing Marsala Bay Indian restaurant, which also does take-away. If you fancy a take-away on the beach, the Ventnor Haven Fishery sells fantastic fish and chips, locally caught and prepared to order.
Ventnor Botanic Garden lies in the remarkable microclimate at the heart of the famous ‘Undercliff'. This unique garden is protected from the cold northerly winds by chalk cliffs. In addition to enjoying the lovely gardens, it also hosts events and exhibitions and there is the restaurant and tea rooms on-site for refreshments, lunch or coffee and cake!
From the Esplanade you can take a level walk along the sea wall to Bonchurch (with a stop at The Seapot - a lovely beachfront cafe on the way), or walk along the cliff path towards Steephill Cove, a beautiful sheltered bay only accessible by foot where there is a cafe and very good fish restaurant.
