Hi Roy, thank you for your response in regards to your recent stay. We will take into account your review and make changes to this property in the future. We hope to host you again soon.
The flat had a refrigerator badly in need of cleaning (stinky), a mirror leaning precariously against a wall, mold in corners of the shower, and the stairs were horrific. It was much farther from Princes street than it said. I moved to another hotel rather than stay in this one!

Thank you very much for letting us know about the fridge and shower. We can ensure this will be well cleaned going forward as we will inform our supplier.
This could have been a 5-star rating if not for a couple of niggles on our part. First the good bits: the property is within a 10-15-minute walk from St. Andrew Square, i.e. the Airport-City tram terminal, in a friendly, quiet neighbourhood, with all the conveniences (groceries, public transport, pubs etc.) available nearby. The flat itself is well furnished, it just needs a few final touches that would make it really comfortable. A couple of blankets/throws and pillows in the living room, two bedside lamps in the bedroom, some coffee and sugar in the kitchen... that is really all that we were missing.
Our single major complaint concerns heating. Upon arrival, it was freezing cold in the flat (13°C) and it took two days and nights to achieve a somewhat comfortable 19-20 °C. The single-glazed windows and their wide air gaps are no match for the under-dimensioned radiators, not to mention the bathroom which has no heating at all (apart from an electric heater above the sink that I could not turn on, and believe me, I tried).
So, our first two evenings and nights were really, really uncomfortable, especially without any blankets to reduce the chilly atmosphere in the living room and its cold leather sofa (which looks sooooo inviting in the photos...). My guess is that no one had stayed in the flat for the past few weeks and the owner simply put the heater in no-frost mode.
We spent five nights here and the last three nights were ok, but had it been just one or two nights, I would have been really, really unhappy. So, there is some room for improvement in these aspects.
Otherwise, a nice place -- we may even return, when the weather is warmer :)
