Located in the heart of Bakewell, famous for its Bakewell pudding and a local weekly market, the town provides a great base to explore this fantastic area and its many attractions. Fabulous walks, trails, golfing, rock climbing and much, much more are all within easy reach. Explore the many historic houses such as Chatsworth, Haddon and Hardwick Hall to mention but a few. Impressive caverns in nearby Castleton and Little John’s Grave in Hathersage are also well worth a visit. There is plenty to do for walkers and cyclists, with the Monsal Trail on the doorstep. Golf and fishing available nearby. Netherwood really is a superb base to enjoy all this wonderful area has to offer at any time of the year. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
