• Set in pretty gardens, it offers the best of both worlds-the tranquility of the countryside but minutes from amenities and just miles from the main attractions such as Rocamadour,Gouffre de Padirac,Sarlat.
• The property is completely private with no visible neighbours

The Maison de campagne is a delightful three bedroom property arranged over a single level, sleeping up to 6 people maximum including babies and children. It offers the modern comforts of home throughout.

The Maison de campagne consists of an open , dining and kitchen area .

Kitchen
• The kitchen has a gas cooker/oven ,fridge /freezer,washing machine dishwasher ,microwave, coffee machine, kettle and toaster and a good selection of crockery and cooking utensils designed to give a home from home feel. It also has a round oak table and chairs and a welsh dresser

• The living space offers a sofa and three armchairs with satellite tv and a dvd player for those down time moments.

•Outside the Maison de campagne has a covered terrace running the length of the house with a picnic table and then a patio area with gazebo patio chairs and table and a charcoal bbq perfect for alfresco eating whatever the weather.
•The enclosed gated garden offers private parking and an enclosed space for children to play and enjoy with the additional facilities of badminton, football, basket ball nets and boules
• overground pool 6m x 4m which can be made secure for children by the removal of the steps. Terracing to front of pool.

Our property offers many types of holidays.
• For the family it offers space for children to play and enjoy safe in the
knowledge of not disturbing or being disturbed by anyone
• For couples wanting a calm environment then profit from the beautiful
gardens and privacy
• For those wanting history this is the region of the Hundred years war with
castles and Bastide towns in abundance.This is also one of the most
famous areas for caves being the home of Lascaux
• Alternatively for the more active we have several local golf
courses,canoeing,the Dordogne river is a 5 min drive away, horse
riding,tennis parascending,hot air balloon rides,lakes and aquaparks.

Bien situé et au calme mais intérieur a revoir....

Environnement agréable et reposant ... cependant la maison devrait être rénovée : comme son nom l'indique il s'agit d'une maison de campagne.Les propriétaires sont néanmoins adorables et disponibles.

We are an English couple who moved to France in 2004 with our 4 children. We acquired the property in 2009 to complement our other holiday houses We live 25 minutes away but are contactable at all times for any questions
After 18 years we are still enamoured with the area and people and consider it a privilege to be part of such a community.

Why they chose this property

The area is possibly one of the prettiest areas we have visited in France abounding in history and so under developed it is like stepping back in time . You feel instantly relaxed but charmed by the beauty of the area
Our property is ideally situated in the beautiful french countryside but close to all the attractions of the Dordogne valley. We are within half an hour of the areas beautiful towns of Sarlat, Rocamadour, Beynac and Domme, the castles of the Hundred years War and the numerous caves. We are a mere 5 minutes drive from the Dordogne river with all its water sports and cycling paths. Closest amenities are just a 5 minute drive away
Tennis and golf courses all available within 10 minute drive
