The Clock Tower is a charming detached cottage located in the Cotswolds village of South Cerney. It boasts two bedrooms; a king-size double (zip/link can be twins on request) with en-suite bathroom, followed by another king-size double (zip/link can be twins on request) with en-suite shower room, sleeping four guests altogether. There is also a kitchen/diner, utility and sitting room with woodburning stove. To the outside is off-road parking for two cars and an enclosed garden at the rear. The Clock Tower promises a holiday filled with adventure as well as relaxation.

Fuel, power and logs for fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off-road parking for 2 cars. Enclosed garden at rear with chairs and table. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 1 mile. Note: There is some restricted head height in the en-suite shower room.

idyllisch und ländlich

Der Aufenthalt war insgesamt sehr schön, auch wenn wir den Eindruck hatten, in diesem Jahr die ersten Gäste gewesen zu sein, so ganz fertig schien die Vorbereitung noch nicht gewesen zu sein: Spinnweben, einige tote Insekten auf den Fensterbänken, ein noch nicht sanierter Wasserfleck an der Küchendecke und ein defekter Wannenüberfluss. Das Cottage ist sehr schön und sicherlich im Frühling und Herbst am besten geeignet: Es lässt sich gut beheizen und wird dann gemütlich. Im Sommer wird es oben unter dem Dach sicherlich ziemlich warm. Die Lage auf dem Anwesen ist sehr idyllisch und man kann, wenn man mit dem Auto da ist, von dort zu tollen Ausflügen in die schönen Orte der Codswolds, nach Bath, Oxford etc. machen. Auch der Ort selbst bietet viele schöne Straßen, alte Häuser, eine eindrucksvolle Kirche und einen schönen Bach. Die Pubs sind gut und urig.
