Despite the what it says you can not check in any time u have ti schedule it. Smelled of sewage asked someone to check, concerned of gas leak was told nothing wrong. Had to leave windows open the whole time. Tons of mosquitoes . Washer didn’t ring out clothes at all, they said it was fine. Mold and leak on ceiling in master bedroom. Shower is so small an average sized man could barely get in and out of the shower door. Shower was very moldy and covered with caulk to hide it. Location was great and building was adorable. Wish our room was more cared for. Won’t rent from Wonderful Italy ever again. Stick with individual people…better care for their things and betttr service we have found. Stayed in 4 places this trip and this was the only one that was bad.
We enjoyed so much the roof top views, the sunsets, the circling seagulls, the nightingales, the rambling streets are just down stairs. The courtyards and the fourth floor terraces give you a sense of being still part of everything with a harmony, a private world, surrounded by plants, crumbling buildings and sea skies. The surrounding mountain ranges hedge you in, they change colors throughout the day, as do all the surrounding buildings, with the sky as a stunning array of blues, yellows and reds with the sunset.
