3 At The Beach has been fully refurbished and redecorated for Summer 2025.

Imagine waking up to the sound of the sea, being so close to the waves that you can almost dip your toes in from the edge of your bed.

A break at Waters Edge, 3 At the Beach is coastal living at its best. When you step inside your beautiful apartment, you'll be instantly drawn to the large patio doors that open out onto your very own terrace.

Whether you're enjoying a leisurely breakfast or catching the last of the summer sun, you won't want to leave. When you head back inside, you can still take in the view from the comfort of the living room and the modern kitchen will make preparing meals a pleasure.

If you can peel yourself away from your picture postcard view, you can spend your days discovering some of Devon's best loved beaches and towns; Salcombe and Dartmouth are just a short drive away. Beautiful remote location

Amazing location, area is of beautiful scenery. The sea is right outside your patio and the sound of the waves is very tranquil. Fantastic pub with amazing food is just metres away. Lots of local places of interest to visit too. Apartment has everything you need from fresh bedding and towels to all the utensils you need. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Short break to recover after Illness

Lovely Apartment in a Fantastic location right by the sea, Secure parking is a massive bonus as is the short level walk to the Start Bay Inn for a fantastic meal at reasonable prices, John was so friendly and a mass of usefull information. Will defintely be back again next year if available.

Excellent position,patio overlooking the beach,short walk to pub,fist class coastal walks in within easy reach. The apartment is very well maintained and furnished.

As always another great stay in Torcross, having stayed here over 20 times it has become our home from home. Lucky to have 4 weeks this summer and already booked for July 2026 and probably 2027.

Fantastic apartment in prime position, when visiting at Easter noticed lots of refurbishment work has been done. see you again in June for 4 weeks. It’s our home from home.

The position of the apartment is superb. Wonderful uninterrupted views. Easy parking. 30 seconds from bus stop. One minute from fish restaurant where the produce is fresh and very well priced. Faultless.

Great, get away

Amazing apartment, great location. Right in front of the sea so you can have patio doors open and listen to the sound of the sea, very relaxing. The area is rural and remote so the you get a very chilled feeling as it’s densely populated which is great if you like peace and quiet. The apartment has everything you need. So if you come and have forgot something it won’t matter. Lots of local places of interest and lots of places to visit within a short drive. If you like it quiet and not really a busy people’s person this is the place for you.

The location right by the beach is excellent. Very modern throughout. One criticism would be that for that price we would have expected the showers to be pristinely clean.

Lovely holiday

It was a nice apartment a little tired but the caretaker who helped us with heating said it was due to be refurbished the shower was a little difficult to get into if you were a big person door did not open very wide so we wouldn't pick this one again but the view from the apartment amazing

Truly, right beside the sea.

Wonderful breakfast on the terrace in the sun, literally a stone's throw from the sea wall and the churning waves. Bit more shady in the evening, with a chilly onshore wind. Able to lie in bed and see the sun rise over the sea from the twin room - the nicer of the bedrooms. Not much room around the beds in either room, and my wife, who has restricted movement, found both the bath and the shower rather lacking in hand holds, with no mat and no shower hose. Good places to eat at the pub and café in the village, and the Stokely Farm Shop. The Cricket Inn in Beesands may look less foodie than the Britannia crab café, but there is more space, the menu is amazing, and the cooking and presentation are excellent.

Ideal get away

At the beach gave us everything we wanted. A lovely sea view with peace and quiet. Instant access to fantastic walks. A pub just up the way and a farm shop that does lovely food and the added bonus of a tap room selling locally brewed beer. Ideally situated for day trips to Brixham, Dartmouth and Salcombe, all of which are nice to visit. Would recommend.

A wonderful location

I love this area and have stayed in this apartment a few times. It has a fabulous view from the terrace, and is close to a nice pub. We watched tuna leaping from Star Point, swallows gathering to migrate for the winter, hundreds of wagtails flocking over Slapton Ley, and beautiful sunrises. The good early autumn weather was a bonus! A perfect long weekend. Will be back.

Excellent location but property a bit small for the price.

We very much enjoyed our stay. We had been in other apartments in the building in the past and this one clearly won on the view and the convenient ground floor location. On the negative side we found both bedrooms very small with only room for a bedside table on one side of the bed. In the second bedroom the one side of the bed was against the wall making it difficult to get into and make up. The en suite shower room had no shelf either over the basin or in the shower.

All a bit tired

We have been staying at various apartments at At the Beach for nearly 20 years and have had pretty good experiences, but not so much this time. Outside was infested with flies who got into the place-not much they can do about that but they could let you know and we would have gone with the usual upstairs apartments. The apartment layout itself is dark, crockery and utensils tired and insufficient and the bedrooms very small-not one we would stay in again..

Slightly over priced

Lovely property in beautiful location. Bit disappointed that there was paint literally peeling off the ceiling in the en suite shower & the patio area had not been cleaned. Very sandy and a left behind disposable bbq still sat on patio. Corner plot gave fantastic views but you were over looked by lots of passers by heading for the beach, pub etc. Kitchen was extremely well equipped, nothing was left unprovided. Great tv with loads of channels & free Wi-fi, kids thought this was great. However thought over £1000 for 5 nights was a little on the high side. Never the less great spot lovely apartment. The food in the pub up the road was average, so went further afield & found some great places, all listed in the info book supplied in the apartment.
