Carlton2 is a centrally located two bedroom self contained apartment with separate kitchen, bathroom and living area fitted with super fast broadband throughout the apartment and home cinema system. Recently renovated to a high standard
Free parking (1 car) is located on the adjacent Methodist church car park.
It is a near flat walk to Keswick from our first floor apartment (20 steps). Entry is via self-check in process with number lock key code
The apartment is centrally located in Keswick next to the Methodist car park where Carlton 2 residents can park for free with permit. Entry is via self check-in.

Sept Stay
Great location for Keswick, easy walk to market/stores/buses/trails but far enough to be quiet. Didn’t have a car but the off street parking looked more than adequate.

Carlton 2 in Keswick
Great lodging in Keswick! Really convenient location, couple of minutes walk to the high street and busy shopping area. Close to the riverside park and hiking trails. Suite was very clean and well appointed. Adrian, the host, was very helpful and super responsive when I had questions. Very much appreciated. Overall, highly recommended.

Lovely modern flat in central Keswick
We had a fabulous stay in Carlton 2 while at the famous Keswick Convention, which will celebrate its 150 anniversary in 2025. Everything was meticulously prepared and the check in went without a hitch, which was a relief in the torrential rain. Contact with the host before and during the stay was faultless. The accommodation is light and very modern, and the parking spot was a great feature, as it meant we didn't need the car the whole time we were there

Great spot!
Very clean, easy access, and great location - walkable to many Keswick eateries and a great hub for the many Lake District adventures that are a short drive away. Our family also enjoyed the playground and cricket matches at Fitz Park, a five minute walk. Adrian was easy to work with and went over the top by mailing us BOTH of our kindles that we mistakenly left under the very comfortable pillows!

My wife Lesley & I have worked for Public Services in Cumbria for over 60 years between us. We have lived in Cumbria all our lives and brought our 3 boys up. Cumbria is a very safe County to live and we now live in the Carlisle Area.

Why they chose this property

We enjoy the lakes so now was the right time for us to purchase Carlton 2 and update it to modern living.
We both love Keswick and all it has to offer both in the Summer and Winter.
The apartment is warm clean and the views of the Skiddaw massif are simply stunning.
We get great light on the first floor and it is a very roomy apartment
