Come enjoy Michigan at its finest on all sports and trophy fishing Murray Lake in our new million dollar home. Close to downtown Grand Rapids, MI, 30 minutes from the airport, and about an hour to Lake Michigan, this home is the perfect location for visitors or locals to just kick back and enjoy life.

We just finished renovating our home. Everything is new and up to date. The kitchen is fully-stocked and has all the features of a gourmet chef's dreams. Dishes, appliances, glasses are plenty and high end. In addition to the 8 seating dining table, there are more tables that can extend your seating. The fireplace has an original barn beam mantel and copper chimney. There are plenty of sitting/conversation areas throughout the home. And for the men and kids, there is a man cave with a large screen TV! Outdoors is a calming waterfall, large firepit, grassy lake side yard and beautiful clean sand....everything to make your stay perfect!

The home accommodates a maximum of 15 guests, whether visiting for the day or sleeping in the home. Our neighbors prefer no parties or larger groups than 15 people. We request that our guests respect this so we can continue to share our home with others on VRBO. Many communities have banned vacation rentals for this reason.

On a more positive note, we have a great dock for fishing and a swim raft on the edge of the drop off. There are paddle boards and kayaks at no additional charge. We do have a pontoon (and tube) available for rent, $1,400 for the week, plus gas.

If interested, we can put you in touch with either excellent catering companies or a personal chef, photographers, light maid service, baby sitters, life guards, or boat drivers. The lake is very clean and we have a fresh sandy beach steps from the home.

Nearby there are great bike paths, zip line, Lake Michigan beaches, Grand Rapids breweries, local farm produce and ice cream, and only 15 minutes to downtown Lowell, best ribs in Michigan or a quick 20 - 30 minutes to Grand Rapids.

This home is beautiful and well stocked for a multi family vacation, the Sandy beach was a big hit with the kids, rented a pontoon midweek and the lake was not busy, we had beautiful weather and a fantastic experience!

Wonderful Home!

Our family of 13, spent an incredible week at Sue Anne's house on Murray Lake, and we couldn't have been happier! The home was spotless, beautifully updated, and stocked with everything you could possibly need. The kitchen is a chef's dream, and having two refrigerators and two dishwashers made cooking and cleanup so easy for a large group. The layout was perfect, giving everyone space to spread out while still offering great gathering areas.The lake itself was absolutely perfect. While it's on the smaller side, it was more than big enough for everything we wanted to do. We enjoyed nightly sunset pontoon cruises, floated every day, and caught tons of fish right off the dock. The pontoon boat, paddleboards, and kayaks were fantastic bonuses.We also explored several local breweries, spent time in nearby Ada (beautiful but a bit more upscale), and absolutely fell in love with the charming town of Rockford. The location was ideal—close enough to Grand Rapids, the airport, and grocery stores (we had groceries delivered about an hour after we arrived), yet secluded enough that we felt completely unplugged. We were fortunate to spend the Fourth of July here, and watching the incredible fireworks display put on by the lake residents from the pontoon boat was unforgettable.Sue Anne was an exceptional host. Her communication was outstanding, and she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. This home is perfect for creating lasting family memories!

Wonderful family reunion week

Amazing lake vacation

We had a wonderful week at this amazing lake house. We were in constant awe at the wonderful details inside this beautiful home. It was 10/10 clean and it felt very luxurious. Thankful for Time Together

A beautiful place to celebrate Thanksgiving with family. Gourmet kitchen large enough for everyone to help and gather. The owners have.thought of everything. A very restful and relaxing place. We loved playing board games, and watching the eagles and the swans! Cozy, comfortable beds!

A stunning home that is perfect for large family gatherings. We enjoyed the serenity and spaces for us all to hang out and enjoy the lake, reading, hiking and being together doing puzzles and playing board games. The kitchen is built so that 3 chefs can work together to prepare meals making for quick prep and easy clean up. The kayaks and paddle boards provided kept everyone busy and entertained. The host answered all questions quickly and promptly. A very comfortable and spacious home. Would not hesitate to stay again if we are in the area!

I love this lake. My grandfather built a cottage in the early 1900's. We were looking for a quest house for out of town family and friends attending my daughter's wedding and landed on this property a year ago.

Why they chose this property

I would choose this home because of its location to Grand Rapids, the privacy and beautiful sandy beach, and that fact that every thing is new in the home. There is plenty of space for large groups and the kitchen contains more than what you would ever use.

What makes this property unique

My favorite place is sipping on coffee on my rocking chair in the porch and having a glass of wine on the deck at sunset.

This lake is 320 acres in size. It is approximately 64 feet deep at its deepest point. Anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish including Largemouth Bass, Muskellunge (Muskie), Northern Pike and Panfish.
