Charming self catering cottage with double bedroom, kitchen and large separate sitting room which has windows all round and views to the sunset! A relaxing delightful home for your stay.
Arrival and departure days totally flexible.
It is beside the owners home, and set in private grounds, swimming pool and hot tub in season, May to early September
No pets allowed.
Nearby is the stunning North Cornwall coast and coast path.
Padstow, Rock, Polzeath and Tintagel all nearby.
I love watching sunsets from here, local nearby shop
It is in Helstone, near Camelford.
Check in time from 5.00 to 7.00 pm
Check out time 10.00am
We do not have WiFi because of good 4G reception. That is all I use as have no land line here.

Great location and well appointed spacious accommodation .

Really enjoyed our stay and host Jane was very helpful. Sitting area is located a distance away at the bottom of hosts garden . Wi-fi although not essential would be a welcome addition .We would stay again when in the area thank you.

Lovely guests, looked after the Lodge really well and left all neat and tidy. Thanks for staying. Sorry no WiFi but I use 4G, which is excellent reception. I don’t have a land line so no direct WiFi myself

Excellent place

We have had a warm welcome. The house is well equipped, very spacious, very nice view around the Garden. We have very much enjoyed our stay. Highly recommendable.

Lovely peaceful setting.

We stayed for 5 nights and were very happy with the ‘upside down’ accommodation, the very comfortable lounge being upstairs. Good size bedroom with en suite and dressing area. Comfy bed ! . Easy access to the coast.

Home from Home accomodation

The pool house was located a short way along a small country lane. Easy access, ample parking and Jane the owner was very welcoming but not intrusive. Only a short drive from the coastal towns such as Padstow, Polzeth, Rock, Tintagel etc. We very much enjoyed our stay! Thank you Jane.

Very nice place to stay

Had a lovely stay, unfortunately no WIFI but not greatly important. Felt very rushed on day of leaving, although we left before booking out time 11am. Didnt get to see Jane before we left, so sent email to say thank you but have had no reply at all...

Nice place but not clean

Property was nice but it wasn’t clean. Lots of dead insects, spiders inside. Nothing to make you feel welcome. No extra towels, salt/pepper. Instructions for appliances. Can you use pool?? Property needs updated. Jane was friendly but it’s evident she is not able to keep it up. I would not return

Most of my reviews are 4 to 5 star. The property is very homely and welcoming, I do provide salt and pepper, and tell each guest the pool is available by arrangement. The property is as I would like to present it, clean and well maintained, updating is perhaps a matter of personal preference. I’m sad that it did not meet your expectations.

Unser Aufenthalt in Cornwall

Dieses Ferienhaus ist absolut empfehlenswert. Die Lage ist wunderschön und ruhig. Der Garten, der auch genutzt werden darf ist wunderschön und sehenswert. Jane ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt.

Would recommend for couples

Great little space if yourself and one other are looking for a homely style lodge. Only a 10 minute drive to the coast. Would highly recommend :)

A great place for touring the area

This property is amazing for the price, Jane leaves you to yourselves but is always about if you need to know something, perfect for couples who want their own space in a break.

Very private self contained property adjacent to the owners house. Jane was a great host. We would highly recommend.
