We had a great stay for 1 week and I hope we could have stayed longer! Very, very comfortable and cozy house owned by lovely couple and nice children. Our kids were happy to feed the animal at the farm! Everything is very clean and the whole cottage is great quality! Thank you very much!
This location, property and careful attention to key amenities made for a fabulous weekend exploring Cornwall. We made trips to Bodmin Jail, Tintagel Castle and Land’s End from here. Wadebridge is 10 mins away, but this spot is beautifully secluded and very well appointed. The farm animals on the property will be an attraction on their own to some families. 3 different size units available, all sharing a beautiful courtyard. The hosts are wonderful as well!!
well laid out with excellent surroundings to relax. Charmion and Charles take good care of the property and the kitchen is well equipped for self catering. The wood burner is an excellent addition and its really nice to have the animals to feed sometimes! There is also a nice collection of books and DVDs to help keep you occupied on a rainy day, and the cottage is perfectly situated to visit lots of towns that surround it.You need to be fairly confident driving as the roads to and from the property can be a bit hair raising if you're not used to tight spaces. The matress on the main bed and the pillows could possibly do with a upgrade or replacement, but this could be more of a personal thing to us. We would definitely return.
Great Cottage - Central for North and South Coasts
Really great stay - a very quiet area - no traffic noise, but within 30mins of the north and south Cornwall coasts. Also about an hour from Lands End. Try star-gazing outside on a clear night!
The property itself was clean and comfortable. The kitchen is kitted out fine for cooking meals. In summer you can sit outside with a south-facing view and have a BBQ. In cooler days you have central heating and a wood-burning stove to keep you warm.
Comfortable beds. Bath/shower rooms all fine, slightly on the small side, but no real problem for us - it is a cottage after all!
Overall, well recommended!
What a wonderful cottage! We had a fantastic stay here and would recommend it to anyone wanting a family holiday in a location perfect for exploring Cornwall. The accommodation has lots of room - plenty for our four, and the attention to detail is amazing, from the sheets to the towels and not least the excellent scones provided on our arrival - best we have ever tasted! The hosts make sure that you have everything you need and that there is an electric charging point just topped off our Wishlist! Although we didn't need them, there was both a dishwasher and a washing machine - and wonderful filtered water on tap! During our stay, we visited Lands End, Newquay, Padstow, Tintagel and St. Austell and more and all were a convenient drive away. The check-in details and directions were sent by email and were very clear. Overall, this was the perfect holiday cottage and we hope we can get back next year! You will not be disappointed...
We loved to stay at Charmion and Charles place.Nice house with lot af space, god service and tips on what to see and experience. We enjoyed just to relax in the house and feed the animals, and it was a good base to explore Cornwall.
We spent a lot of time researching and couldn’t be happier with our choice. The kids said the beds were very comfy and they loved the dvds and games. Perfectly located for the places we wanted to visit. Loved the home made scones and enjoyed feeding the animals. Will definitely be coming back, the perfect holiday for us :)
Nette, hilfsbereite Gastgeber, Willkommenssnack.

We had an amazing stay at this cottage, every detail was well attended to. The cottage is spacious, and is set in a quiet location, perfect for a weekend retreat. We will be back for sure.
We stayed for a few nights in early June. The cottage was outstanding! It was in a perfect location (once you get used to the back roads). It was clean, full of everything you need for a family stay. We used the bbq and the kitchen it was perfect. Our little one particularly loved going to feed the donkeys and goats and he was happy on his bike around the cottage.
It was quite difficult to locate the cottage at first, maybe a ‘what three words’ location might be good for future :).
Thank you for having us, we enjoyed every minute and would certainly return.
This property is an absolute gem with an amazing family of hosts. We were so warmly received, and the property itself is set on a magnificent farm in the middle of rustic utopian Cornwall. The cottage is clean and simple and comfortable with everything you need for a quiet retreat. The location was perfect for day trips to some of the regions most beautiful sites. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Thank you to Charmion for the lovely welcome. Really appreciated the milk, homemade scones, jam and cream which were very well received. Barn stay was immaculate and had all the amenities that we needed for our stay. Very enjoyable holiday, ideal location to explore Cornwall.
